We want to give a huge shout-out to a brand-new local small business — Jesse’s Pizza at Wrights Corners in Lockport. They absolutely came through for us this week when we needed pizza for our golf tournament at Willowbrook Golf Course.

With 230 golfers out in 90-degree heat, Jesse’s made sure nobody went hungry — delivering six full trays in three separate runs, right on time, with enthusiasm and professionalism. The pizza was fantastic, and our golfers couldn’t stop raving about how delicious it was.

Jesse, her team, and her family went above and beyond to handle our large, time-sensitive order, and they truly delivered in every sense of the word.

We have gotten food a few times here and was ok. Tonight, this will be the last time. Our subs had nothing on them, half full, no extras we ordered. The assorted only had capicolla with one little slice of ham on one side. No mushrooms as asked but written on the sub bag. Had a feeling this was going to be bad with just two young kids working. I get its hard to find good help these days, but when I called the kid was totally clueless. So this was Fred's before and the flavors changed a little bit. We mostly still like it. And I have to say on the customer service and the last time we ordered a pizz they accidentally gave us regular sauce, when we asked for sweet and we don't buy pizza a lot So it's really important to me that it tastes how I want it to and also the regular sauce was a little dry and tomato pasty/acidic... called them up and told him the problem.
