Heather is incredibly talented and I have nothing but gratitude in my heart to her for helping me bring my vision to life and creating the best dress a mother of the bride can ask for! I originally contacted Heather in the winter of 2023, after I spotted a dress that I thought would be my vision for my mother-of-the-bride dress for my only daughter's wedding in October of 2023. I did have some suggestions for variations that would go along with what I had envisioned, but I could find nothing that looked exactly like that. I wanted to know if she could try recreating what was on my mind, and she was said yes! We started working on my dress early spring of 2023, as bringing a vision to reality is a process. I learned so much from Heather! I learned about textures, colors, types of textiles, enhancements, you name it. We met a few times before the final fitting (which was about three weeks before the wedding), and every time we met I was excited to see the progression of the dress, which was also a progression of my vision. At one point during this process I was so happy with Heather's work and with how she had recreated my vision that I brought my mother so that she could have her very own grandmother-of-the-bride dress made to order. We were both delighted! The final fitting was a bit emotional as it was the end of the road after working on this project/s together for so long. I will be forever thankful to Heather for creating and making a dress that was fit for walking my only daughter...

Heather did a beautiful job both with sewing my skirt and hand making tulle sleeves. I’m a professional ballerina, and my tulle tutu needed stitching. Heather did this efficiently and perfectly, allowing my tutu to stay intact throughout all of my intense rehearsals and performances. I also asked Heather to make tulle sleeves that I would wear for the show. Although it was her first time making them, she designed them beautifully and they fit so comfortably, allowing me to move my arms with freedom and finesse while dancing. Her help is greatly appreciated and I can’t recommend her enough. She is exceptionally kind, patient, talented and will go the extra mile to make sure you feel comfortable and beautiful. I will include some pictures of her wonderful work! Thank you for everything, Heather! Just recently I also asked her to fix another tutu, and she was able to this within the same day as I needed it for an upcoming performance. I really appreciate how she was able to accommodate me and fix the tutu beautifully and precisely. Heather is very kind, patient, knowledgeable and does beautiful work. This review is long overdue! Heather is a fantastic seamstress/tailor/designer and I cannot recommend her enough! I saw her to alter a formal linen dress and blouse. She was so kind and caring when hearing my concerns about how to tailor the materials, while maintaining the stylistic integrity of each piece. Heather was so patient and attentive, offering her professional and creative insight on every decision with great precision and detail. She also made sure to check in on how I was feeling about the fitting throughout every step of the way, which was so thoughtful. She is such an assuring presence and really makes you feel taken care of, which is so important when pieces have such sentimental value.
