Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove Showroom — Local services in Town of North Hempstead

We purchased a brand new Sub-Zero refrigerator and were shocked to find that the doors were misaligned right out of the box. It took 8–10 follow-up calls on our part just to get someone to come out and attempt a fix. When they finally did, the technician showed up without the right tools and told us the installer had stripped the screws. Instead of getting the needed tools, they resorted to forcibly pulling the fridge apart—likely causing damage—yet the doors still aren’t aligned.

To make matters worse, the lack of communication is incredibly frustrating. We have to chase them down for updates, otherwise we don’t hear a thing. We also can’t move forward with installing the custom wood panels, as it would be a complete waste of time and money to mount them on doors that are clearly slanted.

For a premium company, the customer shouldn’t be forced to jump through dozens of hoops just to get a basic issue resolved. The doors are not adjustable, and at this point, they should simply replace the unit and take this one back. The entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing—especially for the price point and reputation...

I'm not sure if you're supposed to make an appointment, but I happened to be in the area and stopped in and to see the showroom.

A salesperson was attending to a couple, so I walked around. After she was finished with the couple, she asked if I had any questions. I said "yes" and mid-question, she walked away. She made a phone call (not received a call, but made her own call), started doing some paperwork, made another call (sounded like a personal call) and continued her paperwork. After 5 minutes of waiting to finish my question, I decided to leave.

I'm going to assume that she would say that she didn't hear me say "yes," but she could have glanced my way when I was in her view to see if I could be helped. Or maybe say have a nice day as I walked passed her to...

Great product selection, highest quality by far. Sales staff highly knowledgeable, professional, friendly and without any pressure to buy.
