My recent visit to New No. 1 Chinese Kitchen was underwhelming. Despite ordering shrimp mixed vegetables with white rice, I received shrimp and broccoli instead. This mix-up, coupled with unfriendly service, dampened the experience. While the food quality was decent, the lack of attention to detail and hospitality left much to be desired. Overall, my visit fell short of expectations.

I ordered some food for delivery and the presentation when I opened the package was horrible, the rice tasted like it was warmed up after being in the freezer for a few days. I would rather get food from Flushing then order from here.

The place is small, place is to go. All the times I've ordered, the food is well packaged, good flavor, , well cooked and take their time to make it. They usually take a while to make it but it is fresh and delicious. Recommend.

The food has always been meh at best, but the disrespect and time it takes to get your food is obnoxious. When they say 15 min it’s almost always 30 plus. The last straw was my most recent trip the woman lied saying my food was ready when it hadn’t even been made yet after me waiting outside for over 45 minutes! Mind you I checked in with them when I got there which was 15 minutes after calling. My entire lunch hour and they still didn’t have my food. The lady told me three times in person ohh not ready yet. Then lied and told me it’s ready and proceeded to ask what did I order after telling me it’s ready and had the chef start making it then I told her I don’t even want it...

This spot is low key the best Chinese food spot around! I’ll tell you why…

#1 —-they are open really late #2 —-they’re mad quick (don’t even fall in your order just drive there and order. It’ll be ready mad quick) #3 ——THE PRICE IS GREAT (cannot beat) #4 —-the Quality of the food is quite good. Whether it be the wide fresh variety of veggies in some dishes or the meat and chicken in others - good ingredients used and all fresh #5 —-people who work there are very nice and chill...

NEW No. 1 Chinese Kitchen is some of the best Chinese food I have had on Long Island. I have been looking for a quality Chinese restaurant with non-MSG food, as most common Chinese foods make me feel ill afterwards. I felt fine after eating here multiple times, and their food tasted very fresh. Tina and her staff were incredibly kind and went out of their way to make me feel like a satisfied customer. I will be returning in the future, and I hope...
