If you're thinking that it's a little fishy that an establishment has only 5 stars and nothing less- then you are thinking correctly. Even though I was skeptical from the reviews, I decided to give this place a try. From the very first moment I met Dr. Avakian, I was completely put off by him. He was cold and distant and didn't seem to take me seriously. I asked him questions about some concerns I had and he brushed me off and gave me no real advice. He had an extremely arrogant personality. Either way, something on my face was really bothering me so I decided to do a quick procedure there because I needed it done quick for upcoming events. He removed a small tiny spider vein on my nose and charged me full price for it. I went home and realized that he literally removed one dot. The rest of my nose still had veins. I paid full price for one tiny dot? And the dot that he removed was still red. I waited a week or two and realized that there is literally no difference in my nose. I went back to him to express my concerns and not only was he rude, but you could tell he got angry as well. He told me that "it happens," that those veins just come back. I said they were never gone to begin with, so how could they come back? I wanted to know what the price breakdown was, why did I pay $300.00 for one dot. He had no answers for me. Can you imagine voicing your concerns to a doctor who just did a procedure on you and they won't even come close to look at it? He didn't even once glance at my nose. He didn't even take a simple look at it. I asked him if he could please look, and he said that if I book him for ANOTHER procedure then he will MAYBE take a look at it. THANKS! i would never book him again for anything. he didnt offer me a solution for my problem, he literally did not care. i walked out of there so disappointed. when i told him i found him through yelp he told me himself not to trust online reviews and that the majority are fake- guess he was right! i do not recommend this doctor at all. it's not normal for a place to not even have one four star review. everything you're reading is fake. do not waste...

Received an amazing, thourough European facial thanks to Irina. She started off with making sure I was very comfortable and evaluating my skin, asking me if I have any concerns. First she did a glycolic peel to exfoliate, then put an enzyme mask on me. Then we used an oxygen infused steam to prep for extractions. After this she used high frequency which is a great tool for anti aging. Irina then followed up with a vitamin c mask and LED to brighten up my skin and prevent future breakouts and then moisturizerd my skin to finished up. I mentioned to Irina that I had some tiny white bumps underneath the skin and she kindly suggested only doing laser hair removal instead of waxing/plucking which I normal do for hairs on my face. I had some marks in the end from the extractions which healed in a couple of days. I highly recommend going here for a facial, well worth the price and had amazing results. I’ve gone to a couple of places for a European facial and usually only gotten 3 steps which were just just exfoliation with some scrub, extractions, and a mask. I would HIGHLY recommend this doctor. TERRIFIC! This was my first visit to the Vita Laser Medical Spa in Whitestone and I loved it. I I had Botox and 1 syringe of Juvederm XC. Dr. Avakian was knowledgeable and helpful. He impressed me with his ability to know exactly what product to use to help me achieve the look I wanted. His prices were very reasonable and his technique was impeccable. I've been to other doctors for fillers and Botox before and they all seemed more interested in pushing product and making money but Dr. Avakian seemed genuinely concerned about helping me look my best - I felt that was his first priority. I cannot say enough good things about him. It's been a bit over 2 weeks since my treatment and my friends are all telling me I look glowing and relaxed - and they have no idea I had anything done! That is how natural my results appear. I simply look 10 years younger but I don't look like I had "work" done. So pleased, Dr. Avakian is wonderful!!!
