Westbury Dental Spa — Local services in Town of North Hempstead

I have had the most unbelievably AWFUL experience with Westbury Dental Spa. I am in contact with the NYS Attorney General’s office in regards to this matter.

The staff is kind and welcoming however the Dentist/OWNER’s business practices are predatory and dishonest.

I came here because my old dentist was remarkable, however she relocated and sold the business to these people.

I came for a my routine check up and was sold Invisalign I DID NOT NEED. My issue isn’t with the upsale, my issue is with the dentist filling out my financing application for me, in order to secure funding I would have DEFINITELY been denied for.

When we got to the portion of my application that asked about my income, while I was trying to calculate in my head what my current income was, she interrupted me and said, VERBATIM “we just put $100,000 for everybody” then proceeded to submit my application for financing, which was approved for $11,000.

Naturally, because my income was lower than reported, I ended up defaulting on the original loan (but SHE STILL GOT PAID).

So now my credit is ruined because I TRUSTED a HEALTH PROFESSIONAL who ABUSED that trust.

Not to mention, my account was sent to collections and I NEVER RECEIVED MY REMAINING INVISALIGN TRAYS that she tanked my credit for.

To add insult to injury, she created some made up debt of a measly $300 (approximately) AND SENT that to COLLECTIONS as well. I was never given notice that I had a debt. The last call I received was to schedule an appointment for a cleaning, the next thing I know, I have ANOTHER collections agency contacting me in regard to a debt I want never made aware of or given a chance to settle before it ended up as a negative mark on my credit report.

I am now trying to purchase a home for my growing family and am hindered by these immoral practices. This has caused me major harm, not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. So much so, that it took me over a year to write this review. I have difficulty processing how much my trust was betrayed and how I was taken advantage of.

Again, I am in contact with the Attorney General’s office and will be filing a complaint with the BBB as well as local social media groups so that others are not deceived by...

Please be very cautious when visiting this place as a new patient, especially if you are in an emergency situation. I visited this place back in May, after I previously had just visited a place called dental 365 where they informed me that a root canal is not an option due to the tooth having a severe fracture, so with that after I went there, I took a trip over to Westbury Dental spa where I met Dr. Hassan and he observed the tooth , and said we can do a root canal because the crack isn’t severe. Well here I am two months later in pain with a throbbing tooth, I just got home from a endodontist, where they took 3-D images and did a CT scan of the tooth, after all the test the endodontist diagnosed me with a failed root canal. She asked me all sorts of questions on how the root canal was performed with Dr. Hassan, and everything she asked he did not do properly. He didn’t even use a Dental. Damn, she was very surprised by that I have been calling this place for and they keep saying it’s normal. Well tomorrow I am going to have an extraction please steer clear from this place. Especially if you are in an emergency situation they will take advantage of you and do a horrible job, the doctor even goes from room to room working on patience that is not very ethical or clean. Patients BEWARE*

The new doctor is not qualified to be working on patients alone. Doctor was not confident in her skills nor was able to complete the services up to standard. I went in for a cleaning and bond. The hygienist for the cleaning was over 45min late forcing me to reschedule. The doctor who preformed the bond acted like this was her first time doing so and was not able to properly bond the tooth or make the finish even. She went a step further and polished a tooth to make the length completely uneven compared to the other front tooth. I was forced to go to another dentist the same day to fix her mistake and the new doctor was shocked at the low quality of service I received.

Reached out to Dr. Oza to handle assist internally and was told she would work with management on a refund. After a month of continually following up, Dr. Oza decides to ignore every email and ignore this issue.
