Their mouth watering menu offers a nice variety to chose from that will satisfy anyone’s hunger from cold & hot apps, soups, salads, kebabs, seafood & mediterranean type brick oven pizzas. We started with apps: “mixed app” - nicely presented mezze of hummous, babaganoush, eggplant salad, sauced eggplant salad and stuffed grape leaf that came with their yummy warm toasted bread. We also had “Lachmajun”-(brick oven pizza) its an ancient Turkish meat pie with ground lamb topped with parsley, tomato and onions on a thin dough. Nice and crispy! For entrees: “grilled lamb gyro” with greek salad which was nicely cut, flavorful because of the fat that’s saturating the meat & nicely chopped salad topped with shredded feta and a “lamb gyro” platter with a combo of their brown/white rice & house salad. The “Beyti Kebab” (similar to lamb adana kebab) but this has spices and garlic, served also with rice and house salad. If you like a nice kick, this is a nice dish to try out. Their Turkish dishes are not to be missed - plentiful and reasonably priced. The place has a nice ambiance and the staff was friendly. Eating here felt like I was eating at one of the restaurants in the city of Istanbul in Turkey. The food is so authentic, well prepared and executed beautifully. Each item on the menu is guaranteed to satisfy you!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you want to experience the feeling of being in Turkey without leaving town, this is the place to be. From the moment you walk in, the warm, inviting ambience instantly transports you the décor, music, and hospitality all come together to create an atmosphere that feels authentic and welcoming. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. You must try the fried beef liver perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. Pair it with the appetizer sampler so you can enjoy all the dips; every single one bursts with flavor. The shepherd salad is incredibly fresh, and the lentil soup is rich, comforting, and perfectly spiced. For dinner, my go-to is the mixed platter with lamb and chicken juicy, tender, and grilled to perfection. But if you really want to go all out for an unforgettable evening, order the family platter. The kebabs are cooked in a clay pot with fresh bread sealing in all the flavor when they bring it to your table and open it, the aroma alone is worth the trip. This is more than just a meal it’s an experience you’ll want to relive again and again.

Well, overall just a 2. Wished it was better. First off, your website prices are nowhere near now what you are overcharging in the store. Store menu was like 30 percent higher than the website so BEWARE. OVERALL PLACE FELT VERY EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT IT WAS. Branzino was overcooked, big, but dry. Dips lacked any noteworthy flavor. Yogurt dip couldn't taste the garlic or the walnut. Babaghanoush was eh. I asked the guy for red cabbage as my side, he said okay and charged me another $7 on top of the $34 branzino. Breads were extremely dry, not stale, but not good. They overcharged us for an extra beer, which I'm certain was not a mistake. They include the tip. Bottom line. This place was blah. I see they have a new name and trying to get a new review profile going. It's the same place, same people. Nothing new.

Just wanted to share about our experience for Mediterranean Kebab House located at 190 Post Avenue, Westbury, NY 11040. I had called at 7:50 PM to ask if reservation is needed and the gentleman on the phone stated that there is no need as they are slow. We arrived at the location and had informed them that we are waiting for two other people to join us making it a total of four people. The gentleman that served us said that there is no issue and he can have us sit on a table for four. It was brought to our attention that the other two people that were supposed to come could not come due to unforeseen circumstances. We informed the gentleman that served us and he stated that there was no problem. We got to the end of our meal, when we charged for a service charge for 4 people when were only two people. I had brought this to the attention of the gentleman who stated his name was “Jeff” and stated that he cannot do anything as the manager. He stated that there is a mandatory charge for 4 people even though the other two did not show up. Jeff stated that they made reservation for 4 people which was a lie. He stated also that he had to refuse other people from coming into the restaurant because we were occupying a table of 4 instead of a table of 2. The restaurant was not busy and a family of 12 just left and the restaurant was empty except for one other family. I had brought this up with Jeff and he stated that he cannot do anything as a manager. I had informed him that it is not right to take advantage of people during this Pandemic when we should be supporting local businesses. I will be sure to take my business elsewhere and I would like to share how this restaurant practices bad business. Also, no one told us about the service charge for a party of 4 even when the guests did not show up and they didn’t mention any charge for bottled water that they left at tables instead of...

We usually frequent Kabul kabob across the street on post ave. Always saw this place so decided to give it a try. Should have known something was up when they put the big bottle of Poland spring on your table in lieu of tap water. I mentioned to my wife (we will most likely get charged for this but whatever’s. They do the same when we traveled abroad) Menu has decent selections but kind of on the pricey side. Waiters told us of the specials and took our orders. They then asked. “Which salad would you like” and we were offered two options. They way it’s asked of you it implies it’s part of the meal. Turns out we were charged 17 dollars for a small plate of veggies doused in olive oil and seasonings. The food was ok. Never had Turkish so nothing to really compare to. The flavors were good so no complaints on food quality We asked for the bill but the waiter was very pushy abt ordering dessert (which we declined a few times) We get the bill and I noticed an 18% service charge on the bill. I know places usually do that for parties of 8 or more. Never have i seen that for a small table. Was kind of a turnoff. That’s when we saw the 17 dollar salad and the charge for the water. Overall I felt pressured sales tactics thru out the meal. Similar to when you walk into a car dealership. I find their methods very sneaky and somewhat shady in order to get as much $ out of you as possible. This place can go on my list of one and dones. Food was decent but I cannot give my business to a place where they conduct themselves in a...

I usually don't write reviews, and I been trying to give this place so many chances but for the last few times we been going there its been nothing but aggravation due to the poor service they provide.

After coming for the past 10 years with my family on regular basis with large groups, we will no longer ever come to this restaurant again. I think since the new management has taken over or whatever reason it might be, the service has been horrible. After waiting for our food to arrive for 45 mins, just to find out they brought my wife a different dish because they ran out of the requested dish, without even coming to say sorry we don't have Adana Kebab see if you can order something else, they had the nerve to just bring whatever they felt like after knowing the fact that we been fasting. Two months ago, we also came here for another family birthday event, as we eating our appetizers, I noticed a hair in our Shepard Salad, and I told the main waiter that I see a hair on appetizer he doesn't even knowledge it and not even bother offering us a new plate of salad or anything.

When someone goes out eat, its supposed to be stress free and enjoying the food and having a good time, coming to this place for the past few times its been nothing but a nightmare due to their poor service. They just need to hire someone that really has little bit of knowledge how to run a busy restaurant. But until then I will keep going to OPERA in Sheepshead bay, well worth the drive for some great...
