I recently visited A Maze in Pottery in Briarcliff Manor, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! This studio is the perfect place for anyone interested in exploring their creative side, whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned artist. The staff truly set this place apart. They are incredibly friendly, approachable, and eager to help, so you never feel embarrassed or hesitant to ask questions. For someone like me, trying pottery for the first time, their guidance and patience made all the difference.
The studio itself is inviting, with a wide selection of pottery pieces to choose from. They offer everything from mugs and plates to unique decorative items. After selecting your piece, you’re free to get creative with a vast range of paints and tools, and the staff are always nearby to offer helpful suggestions if you need inspiration or tips on techniques. I was also impressed by their attention to detail – they genuinely want you to have a great experience and leave with something you’re proud of.
A Maze in Pottery is perfect for a family outing, date night, or solo creative escape. They make art approachable and fun, regardless of your skill level, and you leave not only with a unique piece of pottery but also with a sense of accomplishment. I’m already looking forward to going back and creating something new. Highly...
Read moreMy family and I went as a Valentine's Day treat to A Maze in Pottery. We reserved a table as suggested which was a nice option because we drove over 40 minutes to get there. We were greeted at the door and it was explained to us how to choose the pottery we wished to paint. Once that was done we chose our paint colors and got busy creating. The store was clean and well maintained, there were many pottery options and they were clearly marked with price (if that is a concern to stay in budget). The staff was friendly and attentive even though we did go over our allotted reservation time we never felt rushed or push out. The store was very busy with customers picking up their items so it seems like it is a very well run business that people attend frequently. I know my family and I will...
Read moreI really enjoyed our time painting pottery with my kids. The people were nice and they have a great selection of pieces to choose from. However, I find the $9 fee per person on top of the price of the piece is over the top. Most places include the cost of paint in their pricing. And on top of the extra $27 (for three of us) the first visit , we were then charged an additional fee the next day to finish our projects. If the first $9 fee included all the paint and supplies for the projects, why charge again for using the same supplies that were included in the first fee. Thats a hell of a lot of money to spend, which will make me think twice before choosing this lovely business. Its too bad because everything...
