Family Furniture — Local services in Town of Perry

I've been a regular customer at Family Furniture for 20 years. Living room furniture, mattresses, lift chairs, bunk bed, dressers. My shopping experience has always felt good - plenty of space while I look around and help right there when I need it. Their prices are fair and service is always incredible.

In fact, Family Furniture is the definition of what you might think of as good, old-fashioned customer service. They've held furniture that I didn't have a place to put, for six months. Their delivery and set-up service is efficient, careful and respectful. Personal follow-up from their team and the owner is regular, including a check-in after a purchase to make sure we know they're there, for that next purchase or if we have any issues. One time a mattress was installed and either had a rip or got one one it was delivered. Noticed it several weeks after delivery and contacted the store. No questions asked and a replacement was delivered.

Another time I got specifications from my sister about an adjustable bed from a store across the state, that I'd prefer to purchase locally. They had a sales representative go to that store 4 hours away to fully understand its capabilities so that they could match it from their own product line, custom order it, then deliver it. Their longevity provides confidence they will be there when you need them and they make the shopping experience smooth...

I ordered a beautiful new bedroom set back on August 12th, 2020. I got a new bed including headboard, footboard, bed rails, box spring, new mattress, dresser with a mirror, chest dresser and two nightstands. I understood with Covid that it would delay shipping. I got half of my order back in November which included my two dressers, mattress, and due to some manufacturing issues they gave me a loaner box spring which was nice. I always had to call to find out the status of the rest of my order, the one dresser had marks on it from the manufacturers, and nobody seemed to be on the same page. I am just getting my full order delivered today after 5 months. The furniture is absolutely beautiful but the customer care during this entire process has been almost nonexistent. I feel as though when you buy locally you should get weekly to biweekly updates on the status of your order because originally they told me it would be 6-8 weeks and it was 5 months. Overall, I love the furniture I ordered but I will not be using Perry’s Family...

What can I say about this place??? Well to start, the furniture is awesome!!! Very sturdy and very beautiful! I purchased a sectional sofa, dining room set with sideboard,king size bed with adjustable headrest by remote control. Everything is as good as the day we got it! My old black lab loves to get on the couch and scratch as if she's outside digging in the garden, of course she pulled a few threads up and now a small hole in the cushion is happening. I called them and asked if I could buy a replacement cushion cover for the sofa lounger and they said yes! The price was only $49.00!!!
