Our experience with Renewal by Andersen started with our window consultant Will Braunstein. Never having had windows replaced or installed before, we were genuinely educated on ALL we needed to know prior to our purchase. Absolutely NO PRESSURE SALE! Will explained EXACTLY what the installers would do, what our expenses covered as well as the many warranties that were included. Our next experience was their contractor who came and REMEASURED all the windows to ensure accuracy. At which time the windows were order explicitly to the measurements given and in 2 weeks were ready to be installed. On Wednesday, our crew leader Brian Newkirk, installers Kevin B., Aaron, and Steve arrived on time with EVERYTHING they could possibly need to install all 9 windows. They immediately prepared our furniture and floors to avoid dust or damage and proceeded to their tasks, each in a different room. These four men were all Professional, Courteous, Respectful of our property, and Diligent in maintaining safety to me and my cat ... who loved them! What was originally planned as a two day install, was actually only one day due to their work ethic. Before leaving Brian explained how the windows worked, the warranties and had me inspect each room prior to leaving to ensure ALL CLEAN UP was to my approval. Which it was!! THANK YOU, WILL, BRIAN, KEVIN, AARON & STEVE FOR THIS AMAZING EXPERIENCE THAT COULD NOT HAVE GONE BETTER! Update (8/21/23): Adam got in touch with me soon after my initial review and corrected the miscommunication. He expressed his sympathies with my situation and got the correct part ordered. Last week, Robert came and fixed the weather strip. He was courteous and professional, the job was done quickly. Renewal by Anderson righted the wrong. While I still think I could have been assisted a bit faster, Adam and team definitely made me feel like my issue was worth correcting and that I was a valued customer. Thanks, Adam!

I had a sliding glass door installed by Renewal by Andersen in the Fall of 2022. Installation was done in a day and I love the door itself, it is an upgrade over the old door I had previously. This Spring, the weather strip failed and was hanging in the doorway. The door handle was also loose at this time and with the door under warranty, I called to have the door fixed. It took several phone calls, at least four, and voicemails to Aspen to finally get in contact with someone. A rep arrived in May and fixed the handle and I showed him the strip that was hanging. The rep glued the strip in place and advised me to call back if that didn't work. Memorial Day weekend came and the strip failed again, hanging in the doorway so that people had to brush it aside when passing through. I called again that following week and waited until July for the exact same rep to come and look at it. The rep already knew what my concern was yet showed up, looked at the hanging strip, and told me they would have to order the part. The part should have been ordered in May the first time he was there. Now it is August with no word yet on the replacement part, so I'm calling again and was told to leave another voicemail for Aspen. At this point, the company has made me feel as if I don't matter or that my issue with the door isn't important enough for them to come fix it. My door is under warranty and Renewal needs to honor that in a timely manner. The door itself I would give 5 stars, even with the issues, but the customer service I would...

I cannot adequately express how wonderful our experience with Andersen of Eastern NY was. We had a massive project (6 patio doors, each around 8 feet in width), a 9 foot window, and a few side windows.

The sales experience was great, with Steve Cannon (our sales rep) explaining all of our options well and helping us make decisions throughout the process.

When they first got to the house for the install, they were scheduled for four days. They started with the largest doors, and upon ripping them out discover massive damage to our rim joists and the structural integrity of the whole side of the house. The head of the crew explained everything, boarded it all up and insulated while formulating a plan. They came back the next day win a proposal to fix all of the damage so we could complete the job.

They reinforced and repaired all of the damage and did it in a way so that we wouldn't have any issues down the line. They were professional, courteous, and fast throughout the whole process. They still finished within the original four day timeline.

Are the Andersen products more expensive than their competitors? Sure, but the quality of service and the craftsmanship of the windows and doors (and the accompanying trim work and the fact that they go above and beyond) more than makes up for any price gap. We would recommend them highly and will absolutely be using them for all future window and door projects...
