Oswego County Fairgrounds — Local services in Town of Sandy Creek

It was pretty disappointing to drive all that way to find a hand full of rides, about 10 food vendors, maybe 5 merchandise vendors, and animal barns were quite empty. The ONLY plus is you didn't have to pay for parking or admission or wait in long lines for rides or food. I was kind of put off that on the website it said u could purchase an all day/night ride wristband for 20.00 when we came there was a sign at ticket booth saying sorry for the inconvenience no wristbands being offered tonight...so my 20.00 got 5 rides...and then we left...all of the rides were from the 80's and looked like they were ready to fall apart...the kiddie cars for example..the back wheels had been replaced with wagon wheels...and my daughters hand and shorts were black after riding and getting off accidentally brushing the wheel because there are no guards on...

Our experience of the 2019 Oswego county fair consisted of seeing an tremendous lack of animals, eating okay fries and extremely greasy onion rings, being yelled at by an angry 4H leader. The corn dogs have gotten a lot smaller, but the demo derby is always the same (good). I’ve been going to this fair my whole life ,I have noticed that they have decreased in their vendors and activities there. The effort put into the fair has greatly decreased year after year. Their vendors have gone from a wide variety of foods, drinks, games to the same exact selection of food and activity’s which the food is all greasy, small portioned and expensive...

I really enjoy the Oswego County Fair. I vended there for the first time this year and absolutely loved it. I went here as a kid my whole life but the experience hits different when you are actually a part of it. I had a lot of different customers and met some really kind folks. It is a lovely fair with tons of rides, vendors, amazing food, live music all day long. It's free admission on Friday and Sunday I believe. It's a nice little small town fair that brings in thousands of people from all over the state and probably even out of state. Very unique vendors. I really...
