Sandy Creek/Lacona Food Pantry — Local services in Town of Sandy Creek

As a member of the local community, I am very saddened of how myself and others have been treated by this shop. I’ve been turned away from volunteer work several times, yet they are closed on days when they don’t have the help. I have had rude comments said about my appearance loud enough to hear across the room. I’ve seen people who are seeking assistance or going to the food pantry met with judgement from a group who claims to be religious based. I only give two stars due to having local access to a thrift shop however most of what makes it to the floor is leftovers from their own picking over or of what they deem is sellable.
