If you are not a senior citizen, avoid this store at all costs. The staff is generally rude and cantankerous. Especially a man named "Jim" who will without reservation reprimand and yell at your children if they inadvertently touch or move anything on the shelves. The best IGA in Suffolk county. Very Clean which is most important. Fresh produce and fruit. Excellent Deli with great sandwiches. And the meat and poultry fresh. Beware of people who tell you chicken always has a funny smell....ABSOLUTELY FALSE. They have a smell because they bad. I was a food inspector in the U.S. Army, so I have a little knowledge in that regard. You can get so sick from bad chicken and undercooked chicken....

Store was clean and staff friendly. I bought chicken thighs and got home and they were bad.
