Village Deli & Bagelry — Restaurant in Town of Smithtown

The food is ok, nothing more. My sandwich roll has been stale more than a few times, the coffee always tastes old, my egg sandwich is always missing something... The service is the pits. The younger kids that work there are friendly but give the service you would expect from teens. The older people always have a puss with an air of mild irritation that they have a customer. I live very close so I find myself in here more frequently than I'd like to. If something opened that was just as convenient I would hands down NEVER walk in this place again. Best bagels around!! Everything is very fresh and taste the best! The owners and staff are always quick and efficient. My kids LOVE the rainbow bagels (and so do I!) We always get a nice variety of bagels because they are all so good, very fresh, not too dense, perfect texture! Onion, everything, sesame, poppy, whole wheat, plain.... YUM!! For a sweet treat I like the French Toast bagel :) Cream cheese is delicious too. Plain and vegetable are our favs.

Such RUDE workstaff here. I live right there and have been here so many times but not anymore. Let me try to explain. They take your order like your in their way or a nuisance. And Ive never gotten an order right. They put bacon on my vegetarian boyfriends sandwich. They gave me a buttered, cold bagel instead of my toasted with cream cheese. And all their egg sandwiches drip with oil that obliterates your bowels. But dont take my word for it. Come and see...
