Advance Auto Parts — Local services in Town of Sodus

Tried to return a Auto Craft jet ski battery for the core charge to the Sodus, NY store and they refused to accept it because it was purchased at a different Advance Auto store and I didn't have my receipt. It's an Auto Craft battery -their own brand yet they wouldn't allow me to return it! Ridiculous. I called a different store who said it would be no problem and would give me store credit for the core charge. I have purchased about 6-8 batteries from Advance for my 3 jet skis since they only last 2 years max and never had a problem before. Bought a crank battery from them last year for the boat also. It is so easy to shop on line today its hard to believe that a retail store would give someone BS for something...

For the first time today after coming to this location for almost a year I had an employee that is fairly new treat me less than the regular customer. He proceeded to take a phone call for another customer after I already had been standing in line with only two items in my hand got snippy with me and rolled his eyes and I told him he must be fairly young and he said yes I am I said you were acting like it . All the manager said was guys let’s not argue instead of correcting the young man. I have done customer service for quite some time and at this point I will not go back to this location unless he no longer works there so therefore that is the reason for my one star...

My hubby went here for parts for my car. They double charged him on his card and were unwilling to fix the mistake. This is his second run in with this guy. He ordered a part for his truck about a year ago and when the part came in it wouldn't fit.
