Revco Lighting & Electrical Supply — Local services in Town of Southampton

I visited the supply area of the Southampton store today, May 4th, 2018. I am disabled and not a stereotypical blond Hampton's Stepford wife. I asked for a rather unique item to complete a sconce that I'd found in an antique store for my home renovation. I was welcomed by a young man (blond) who heard my request, literally jumped up and over the counter and immediately found what I needed on a rack behind me. The "solution" wasn't exactly right so he excused himself and went off in search of a remedy. When he returned, he'd assembled exactly what I needed for my antique. Total sale: $3.51! It is rare to get this kind of attention and care by anyone in the Hampton's although it is the kind of care we used to get years ago by local businesses. I had a friendly encounter with the sales clerk in the electrical supply department. He was knowledgeable, courteous and most of all did everything with a smile. I forgot to ask him for his name, unfortunately. He was very polished in his speech, eloquently expressed himself, represented the company in a professional manner.
