One of the worst dealerships my husband and I have ever worked with. They give that great family feel when you buy a vehicle and promise you a bunch of things with the deal you make and then ignore you or give false promises when you follow up asking. They will have you test drive vehicles that are unsafe to be driven. We test drove an SUV whose brakes were so shot we almost crashed it on the test drive! Multiple cars we looked at reeked of wet dog. We finally agreed to purchase a vehicle for a great price and they didnât even bother to have it detailed upon the sale- we had to come back and have it done a week later after being told it would be done before we drove it off the lot. One thing that was promised upon the sale of our vehicle by the salesman was that the brakes would be worked on, as I felt they werenât working properly and kept squeaking. They were squeaking obnoxiously upon pulling out of the parking lot! When I brought it back to be detailed I asked for the new brakes weâd been promised by our salesman and they refused saying they passed inspection and were therefore fine. I have a dash cam that caught the mechanic who checked the breaks mocking me for wanting the brakes checked/redone. I brought the vehicle to another shop who was able to find the issue and replaced the brakes for us. Absolutely ridiculous. The salesman had also promised weâd get pictures of the brakes before and after being worked on and again we never got anything.
When I needed proof of sale of my trade-in to cancel a warranty on my trade-in, the woman I spoke with was disgustingly rude, laughing at me, and giving so much attitude at being asked to send over paperwork that was, again, promised by our salesman upon the trade-in/sale. I got it two weeks later after calling almost daily.
They misspelled Syracuse multiple times on the contract and despite me crossing it out and correcting it before signing, it was still misspelled. Our salesman had his teenage son show up to our house to have the corrected contract re-signed. My husbandâs name is also misspelled on the contract and no one wanted to correct that either, despite having his license upon writing up the contract, and me bringing it up when the salesmanâs son brought the new one.
Only one key to my car works as the other is completely corroded inside and wonât work even after replacing the battery. You canât even get the physical key out because of how badly corroded it is.
The salesman also promised to have the scratches buffed out on the vehicle but again, that was never done and was met with blank stares and no response when we followed up to inquire about this.
Overall, extremely unprofessional experience, seems like a bunch of yes-men who will tell you what you want to hear just to make a deal and then go ghost as soon as the contract is signed. Will never do business with these guys again. It wasnât until after that I learned the affiliation with Candy Cars which is just as bad. Had we known we would have never even stopped to look here.
Seems that if they donât like what you have to say about the business and your experience theyâll call you a liar. FYI- I made multiple phone calls and texts to Tony and to Finnegan with no response regarding what was going on. I also brought the continued squeaking up to the maintenance guys before leaving the lot after they âtook a lookâ at them the second time (this is the dash cam video evidence of him mocking me I have). So I most definitely did not leave the lot satisfied, Iâm not going to stand there and be gaslit by a man who clearly doesnât care or want to hear it. Additionally, after this experience and the very little responses during this entire crapshow Iâm not sure why anyone would call afterwards to âhave you make it right.â What so I can be laughed at and mocked again? What a joke. Future buyers- go check the yelp reviews theyâre much more accurate and reflective of the...
Read moreIf I could Iâd give this establishment a 0/5 stars because Iâve had nothing but problems. Bought my car in February found out it had a chipped windshield the day I bought it but only noticed while I was driving home in it. So I contacted my salesperson and told them about it and they said to come in the following Wednesday. Wednesday comes and I go in, turns out my salesperson no longer works at the establishment and I didnât have an appointment. And guess what the glass guy wasnât even at this location so now I had to drive 15 minutes out of my way to go to their sister store to get it replace. They fill the chip and Iâm sent on my way. Then I start to notice a rattling noise whenever I go over bumps but I pushed it aside because I wasnât too worried about it. Then I had no base in my radio and then all my sensors and check engine light came on. So I call to make an appointment and they canât get me in for about a month mind you I drive my car for work so that didnât give me any ease while working. Eventually my appointment comes and they tell me theyâve fixed the tire sensor but they couldnât fixed the engine light or sensors be their electrical guy wasnât gonna be in for another week or so due to vacation.i go to pick up my car and the sensor for the tire goes on again so they didnât even fix that . I make another appointment to get my car looked at for the electrical, tire sensor, and an alignment and the rattling noise too. I go to this appointment drop my car off and go to work. I get a call that they canât do an alignment because theyâre uneven wear on my tires that they never told me about at the previous appointment when I asked them to rotate them, they fixed the electrical and think they fixed the rattling noise and charge me $600. Turns out they did not fix the rattling noise charged me for some bullshit tightening of the sway bar link that wasnât even the problem so I have to drop the car off yet once again. So I dropped it off this past Tuesday night, I call later Wednesday afternoon to see if they have any updates on my car. Nope it sounded like they forgot about it and didnât even touch it so once again my car has to stay another night/day at the dealership. I call today to see if they have any updates because once again I havenât heard a single thing from them. They told me theyâre gonna call me back once the guy is done with the customer in front of him..well itâs been 40 minutes since I called and have not heard a single thing. They also sold me this bullshit warranty thatâs supposed to cover everything with a $100 deductible but itâs some bullshit because it did not cover a single thing that I had...
Read moreWorking with AJ at Bridgeland was a breeze! AJâs very courteous and explained everything detail to a âTâ. I look forward to purchasing another vehicle from Bridgeland in the future.
âThe Outcomeâ 2019 VW ATLAS I can only speak on my experience, but definitely know I was treated like a complete bum and idiot after reporting issues with the car a week and a half after purchase. I paid $23000 for my car cash no financing, It might not be much and people spend a hell of a lot more, but I took the chance with Bridgeland to put my family in a dependable vehicle and am left trying to make this all make sense. I was told I was going to pay a deductible for repairs not even after having it two weeks for maintenance that shouldâve been done before purchase. I was dragged out tilâ the end of the month and told I didnât have a 30 day warranty and played with like my money meant nothing to them and trusting them with a better outcome. One person particularly didnât treat me very well and was just trying to drain my pockets from our very first conversation. After speaking to two very nice employees one that truly advocated for me and told me something isnât right! She talked to her GM and he gave her the go ahead to fix the car completely. I was told I had all green thumbs up for every concern. I was hoping that everything would be fine. After a week picked up my vehicle after being assured it would be test drove and the concerns I mentioned to be fixed before pick up. My brakes were the first issue you would think would be an easy fix. Brakes are still squeaky and grinding. AC after being told it would not be repaired after not having the car for a month. Is now repaired, one good thing. Car is still shaking and fluttering and making loud noise from the exhaust. Nobody in their right mind test drove this car and didnât notice this. There isnât enough room to write how I really felt I was treated, because there was a lot of BS from the very beginning that I prayed I wouldnât fall into when purchasing this car. I definitely didnât follow my instincts when the first red flag was raised. Iâm gonna take the car and get it properly diagnosed from The Volkswagen dealership and take this matter to small claims court because my extended warranty is not going to cover all the costs. If this establishment wonât even change your brake pads there is definitely something wrong. I wasnât even given any paperwork when I picked up the vehicle to document what had been fixed smh. I wish I could write it all down, but Never againâŠ. Iâm totally disgusted that they would treat...
