Guthrie Whitney Point — Local services in Town of Triangle

This place is local for us, it would be really nice to use it but we keep finding ourselves driven away by the office staff. The office is best described as hot garbage on rye. They never call in prescriptions... Even important ones. Over an over though... We call and are told they will call it right in. Nothing happens. We show up and explain that our daughter is now out of medication that she needs because they never called it in. And still it wont get called in. Literally a doctor standing at the window apologizing to my wife for the delay and they still dont call it in. And this is not an isolated incident. We left the practice 4 years ago because the incompetence was over whelming. We went 40min away to get out of this office. The other doctor closed so now we are back and it looks like nothing uas changed. Be prepared to stand at the window until they call the medicine in. The doctors and PAs on the other hand are awesome. We love them. If only they didnt have useless...

Probably the worst GP office I have ever been too, and my health has never been worse. When you're have incompetent medical professionals doing the job, it the patients that suffer. I remember when health care professionals had to an oath to do no harm. That's not the case anymore, and to be honest, I look forward to the day AI takes over the GP job, as it stands now they only hand out referrals and pills. Most GPs that practice nowadays are physician assistants or nurse practitioners and don't have the knowledge a actual doctor would have. Guthrie medical has proven to me that health care is a profit driven industry. If they truly cared about your health and not profits, the third leading cause of death in America wouldn't be medical errors. I'm absolutely disgusted. ZERO STARS. I don't know how else to say it. I agree with the gentleman with the tattoo comment. Only reason it stays afloat, is that our community is at their mercy.. I miss Kelly And Tim. Im here to confirm that any values went out the door with them. Witnessed the staff members literally abuse Holly at the desk after she accommodated an elderly patient who had drove to the office on the wrong day of her appointment. Shame on them. And I also agree with the gentleman in reference to being Interrogated and treated as trash. . That nurse thinks she's Barney Fife. I'd like to know her real agenda.
