The People of the Cider Mill Stage. These people are good at what they do and passionate about doing it well. They remind me of a young Willem Dafoe et al, who labored quietly and deliberately in their lower Manhattan Wooster Group circa 40 years ago. ln a 2012 interview, Dafoe said, “you do your best things when ... you’re a little scared.” In these years, there was a lot to be scared about with the arts under assault. High caliber community theater has trouble filling seats. It seems to me that the community they're trying to enrich is oblivious and yet Theses Thespians continue do it for US. I agree with Dafoe's point of view "....Great theatre is about challenging how we think and encouraging us to fantasize about a world we aspire to...." Congratulations Cider Mill...

A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE to Love & Marriage directed by Rob Egan...last night. Tons of Fun. Congrats all. We last saw this at Pittsburgh's Benedum Center [forensic pathologist daughter supplied great tics] and the CiderMill Stage production was no less enjoyable. The Cider Mill is open...the cider is cold and the donuts are fresh and tasty...even with wearing masks and staying 6 ft apart the goodies they offer are still as tasty as ever!!! They have huge cookies...pies and half pies in all the great late summer flavors...raspberry...blackberry...apple and many more. They have order on line and car-side delivery or pick up inside...the donuts are fresh and the apple slushes are cold and delicious...worth a short drive to see for yourself...you won't be...
