Grand Union Supermarkets — Local services in Town of Warrensburg

We have a camp in Lake George I always love going to grand union They carry a variety of boars head products I went there July 6 ordered cold cuts Bologny,spiced ham,liver wurst and ham 1st off the service at the deli was horrendous Stood for 12 minutes waiting for the attendant to acknowledge me . When she did Tell me she would be right with me Five minutes later she took my order When I got home made a sandwich all The plastic wrap was still on the meat Then after eating the liver wurst on the 7th On the 8th I go to make a sandwich with Liver wurst it is all slimy So I use the ham instead That night I wake up at midnight Vomiting all night till morning. Weeks later I find out that there was a recall Of boar’s head liver wurst and other lunch meat Now I know why I was sick No more...

I have shopped here for 15 years and loved the people who work here, they always try to help you out and ask if I found everything I was looking for when I check out. But now I hate going there because the vegetables aren't fresh most the time, shelves are not fully stocked, they don't have fresh fish, which I look for all the time. I know this has nothing to do with the people that work there, this is Grand Union not getting them the products when they need them, so please Grand Union check your stores for their needs...

Me and my husband came from NY and wisited the Tops in Warrensburg, we like the store very much. The staff is friendly and helpful. Especially the manager of the store Mr. James Rutherford. We were looking for yogurt Stony Field plain low fat, and store did not have. So manager found the code for this item, ordered it, and told us when it will arrive to the store.
