Spin City Laundry — Local services in Town of Wawarsing

My family uses this laundromat about once a week to do our laundry. It’s fairly typical, mostly clean depending on the time of day you visit, sometimes a machine or two is down, nothing out of the ordinary, etc. I like the convenience of it being open 24/7 so I can go in the middle of the night if I feel like it, and it’s well monitored. What really stands out is that the other night while I was doing laundry around 2am, one of the machines I was using didn’t drain properly at the end of the cycle. It’s the first time it had ever happened to me here (but not the first time I’d seen it happen), and thankfully the lady who cleans was there and messaged the owner for me who said to leave a note (standard practice when one of the machines goes down after hours since no one is in the office). I left my clothes in the machine with an out of order note I wrote on a paper towel on it, and stuck another paper towel note with my name and cell number and a description of what happened under the office door. The next day I got a message saying my clothes were ready to be picked up. They had re-washed them (better than I ever have managed to I might add), dried, and folded them at no extra cost. When you’re on a budget, every dollar counts, and they could have easily just rewashed it and called it even, letting me handle the rest, but I feel like they went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of and I really...

Just tired to do my laundry here for the first time the employee was extremely rude! I asked if she had change or if there was a change machine. She then replied rudely "its right there in front of you!" I didn't see it then she got more rude! It's RIGHT there.. ok sorry I didn't see it.. then I put all my laundry into a big washer put two cups and not even a half of a cup of soap in. I start the wash and leave to return bottle come back to my wash being started over and a out of order sign on my washer. I went to ask what was wrong I Ridley get a reply shocker right. We travel full time and needed to catch up on some laundry. I came here, after visiting a different one this am, because it was closer to the campground. I wish I would have went back there (and almost left to go there). The place just gives off a dirty feel. The machines appear to be older models that don't even tell you how much time is remaing. The last one I started finished 10 minutes before the rest. Some of the machines have mold on the top flaps and around the door flap. The handle areas has built up dirt from what looks like years. I was able to find a couple machines I felt were clean enough to use this time but won't be coming back. I'll drive a little further next time to a place the is a lot cleaner.
