Had a nice afternoon of bowling with friends on a Sunday. The food – a sub and fries – was average but priced fairly. The fries has a slightly fishy taste from being cooked in the same oil as the fish fries. Still, it was a fun time and we’re planning to return.
The most unpleasant part of the experience was interacting with Chris at the front counter. He was unfriendly the minute we walked in and while he got the group set up with shoes. He seemed intent on being miserable with us but chatty with someone else at the counter when he wasn’t working. The manager or whoever working there told my friend who wasn't bowling there was a 5 dollar cover because they had trouble in the past. We are all 25-26ish celebrating a friends birthday. Then when we asked if we could have the far lane (only 3 other people were there in the center lanes) the guy simply responded NO. So much for the customer is always right.
