This is a huge store filled with tons of great products and folks I really enjoyed my stay and found a few things I wasn't even looking for. Beautiful old timey signs decorate this large hardware store, with paint, nuts and bolts, lawn and garden, a huge library of rental equipment, grills, outdoor wear and gear, gifts, housewares, pets and more. Friendly fun staff and essential location to supply the locals with needed items to enjoy winter activities or stay happy in the summer fun. I had been really disappointed with Ace’s online support. Why? Each time I wrote they kept telling me how they gave outstanding customer service. Not that that’s what they strive for but it’s what they deliver. Well, they really ought to take a lesson from Ray here in the Woodruff store. He actually GIVES superlative customer service and is humble in the process! He FAR EXCEEDED my expectations in how to resolve a situation that - up until the time we went there - had disappointed me quite a bit. I met Sam to help build a duck blind.. WOW what an asset to Ace. ONE of the nicest customer Servic Reps I have met. He was personable patient, thorough to my requests to cut the pvc to the correct length. Asked pertinent questions. It was pretty close to close and you would have never knew it from Sam. It was so great to get a young Rep that made a customer service a priority. You can not teach tnis.Sam lives it. I downsized the blind to 5ft nor 10 turned out well.
