As a Verizon Fios and wireless customer for nearly 20 years, I always get legendary service from any Verizon rep I deal with whether it is on the phone or in person at a store. This past Sunday, I picked up a new IPhone for my son at the store in Clifton , NJ Rte. 3W. I encountered a rep in that store who made me feel like he was doing me a big favor activating my phone for me, all the while saying, "this is something you could do yourself." I said "if you're not suppose to do it, just give me the phone and I'll take care of it." He proceeded to activate the phone while continuing to complain. I left the store without the phone being usable, spent 3 hours Sunday evening, 2 hours at the store in Washington Township Monday and then back to the store in Clifton Monday evening for another hour. It was in the Washington Township store that I encountered Kunj Patel. With his professional yet personable manner, he immediately restored my faith in Verizon as a company there to service their customers. I spent 2 hours with him, he spoke to the tech department at Verizon, contacted the Apple techs in my behalf and was able to diagnose the problem with my phone...something, by the way, I would have not been able to do on my own. Mr. Patel's tech knowledge, the ease in how he dealt with the techs from Verizon and Apple and he's overall promise to me that we would get to the resolution of this problem, prompted me to write this review. Mr. Patel deserves recognition for his performance as a Verizon rep who understands what it means to do a job and make sure the customer leaves satisfied and pleased with their experience! I urge you to visit this location and experience the pleasure of Mr. Patel!

After the paperwork was printed I noticed that the trade in value for my old phone was showing only $100. I pointed out the mistake to the employee and he said don’t worry about that you will definitely get $200 for your phone. I made him change the $100 to $200 and initial the paper which he did. I had a feeling there was going to be a problem when I receive next months bill.
Next months bill arrived and my gut feeling turned into reality... i went back to the store with the bill and the paper initialed by the employee from my first visit. This time the manager was there, he asked me didn’t it occur to you that you were only getting $100 and not $200 as you claim you were promised by our employee on your first visit? Thats when i took out the paper initialed by his employee that he had changed $100 to $200 with a pen and initialed it( thank god for my quick thinking that day).
Their mistake cost me $100. Manager wanted to resolve this by giving me two years supply of screen protectors. What a joke! Then he offered me 2 wireless chargers that he claimed were worth a 130 dollar value. By the way checked the price for those chargers on Amazon just now, those sell for $12 each! I wanted 100 dollars that they owe me. I didn’t have much time so i ended up walking out with the two wireless chargers. They won’t be seeing me again! Stay away from...
Read moreI don't understand all of the positive reviews that this place got. My husband and I went in to upgrade our phones. We were told they had to be ordered. Weeks go by and we are strung along being told that our phones hadn't come in yet. Hard to believe so we called Verizon only to find that the phones were shipped and received by the store. The UPS people say they delivered - the store said they didn't get them. The store then closed out my order and didn't even have the courtesy to return a call or to let me know what the situation was. In the meantime, the trade-in deal is no longer in effect and I am stuck with my iPhone 5 or I have to pay twice as much for a new phone. Will never walk into that store again.
Also, the service in the store was less than good on the day that we first walked in. The store attendant was not very courteous or helpful.
