I normally try to stay away from the negativity however I can't help but not to share this woman! I have never seen a manager act the way the one at the Burger King in Haymaker Village, Monroeville, PA does. She is rude, disrespectful, and downright mean to her employees. I have witnessed her scream inches away from their faces, yelling so loudly it is uncomfortable for everyone around. She talks down to them, cuts them off, and berates them in front of customers. Her constant hostile attitude makes the entire place tense and unpleasant.
This behavior does not just affect employees. Customers feel it too. She is impatient, cold, and unwelcoming, creating a terrible atmosphere. A manager should lead by example, but she does the opposite, tearing down her team and making their jobs harder. If it were not for her workers showing up and doing the real work, she would not even have a job.
What makes it worse is that this is not a one-time incident. This kind of behavior happens regularly. I have seen the same pattern of yelling, belittling, and disrespect every time I have been there when she is working. It is not just bad management — it is constant bullying. No one should have to put up with that in their workplace, especially when they are there to serve customers and keep the store running.
A restaurant should feel like a place where both employees and customers are treated with basic respect, but under her leadership it is the exact opposite. The environment she creates pushes good employees away, makes customers uncomfortable, and hurts the reputation of the entire business. If nothing changes, this location will lose both staff and loyal customers because of her behavior. She is completely unfit to be a manager and should be removed...
Read moreIt's surprising seeing so many negative reviews. This is one of the only few Burger Kings that let you "Have It Your Way". For example, I sometimes like getting onion rings on my burger or a double rodeo burger. Until recently, they didn't charge anything extra for the onion rings but now there's like a 15 cent charge for it. That's way better than other Burger Kings that charge a whole dollar for those 2 - 3 onion rings.
Sure, orders sometimes get mixed up and pop runs out/doesn't taste right but what fast food restaurant doesn't do this? If you have a problem with your food and/or drink(s), they will take care of it. With regard to how employee(s) look when asking for a refund, they're most likely not pissed like what Christine said, rather that's their resting face. I can't think of any fast food restaurant nor retail store where the employee(s) helping me with a refund didn't look this way. In fact, most of the time when ordering/checking out anywhere, they look like this.
As for management, I can't say I order inside often enough to really notice any changes. The last time I had a problem with my order, the manager who helped me was a woman. If someone worse replaced her, that would be too bad; however, I'm not going to leave a negative review at my favorite Burger King for this. All in all, it's about a 4/5 for typical fast food service that's bound to making mistakes but since they let you have it your way at a reasonable...
Read moreI went to this location today at 7:10PM and I was in the drive thru at first. While waiting in line I could hear a man in a black Nissan Sentra and the manager working in the drive thru arguing about the amount of time it was taking to take his order. At that point I park my car and start to go inside because I notice that noone is inside being waited on. As soon as I open the first door a lady comes storming out saying "No no no no no we are short staffed and I'm closing the inside you'll have to go through drive thru. Now I can understand about being short staffed and all but there are 2 main points here. 1st I know you frustrated and all with a big order but she (the manager) needs to talk to someone with common sense and professionalism especially since I wasn't the person that you were arguing with. 2nd I'm not the person that you need to take out your frustration on. All the no no no no no and almost pushing me back out the door, I'm not a dog that just pead on the rug. If I would've matched her energy I'd be wrong. Now all this between 7:10 to 7:20. After I went elsewhere to eat at 7:31 there were no more cars in the drive thru and employees were coming out on a break to talk on the phone and yes I have the pic taken from my car as I waited at the stop light. If this is how you treat people when you're upset or frustrated I'll go...
