!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WARNING DO NOT BOOK VENUE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am very disappointed at myself for rushing into renting this venue for my wedding. Without reading reviews or anything I rented this place for my wedding in June of 2025. What a mistake that was, when my husband now and I were looking for venues we came across Diamond Events didn't have much reviews at the time so we went checked out the place Stephanie the owner was very friendly, bubbly and was telling everything very nice and pictured everything super pretty. She spoked very highly of herself and what she offered we were sold, she gave a price and told us everything that was included, We thought the price was decent for everything that was supposed to be provided. Everything was going until the food tasting came around they were always busy, when the day to taste the food came around my husband and his parents traveled from phoenix to come and try a cold plate of food, yes you heard right cold, we got to the event place and her daughter is there instead of Stephanie she stated she had another event she needed to assist we told her daughter we wanted to try the Barbacoa plate which she stated they had not had an event that requested the Barbacoa so she couldn't provide the plate. Quimey who is the daughter stated she could provide a plate 2 weeks before the wedding so we can decided if we wanted the barbacoa or the chicken. Well 2 weeks before the event when we paid off the event, Stephanie started acting very rude and unapproachable. she stated she couldn't just make a plate of food for us to try but she assured us the Barbacoa was really good, But since we didn't taste it we went with chicken instead. To top everything off The Wednesday before the event which was Saturday 06/07/2025 we were supposed to go in for a rehearsal which when we get to the place she had people viewing the salon even though we were there for a rehearsal with her. When we get inside the event place it was not even set up for the rehearsal, the floor was a mess which she stated would be cleaned for the event which was not. Also informs me that day that we wouldn't be able to have cake because it melts before the event because she has no cooler or fridge to keep things cool. The day of the events comes around and as soon as the party begins sodas and waters are out Stephanie had stated she would provide 75 sodas and 75 waters that would last the whole night which didn't it only lasted about 15 minutes of party. Stephanie never told us she provides 75 cans of sodas and 75 bottles of water which is nothing to cover the night like she said it would. Food was provide cold and not enough food on the plate. The grooms mom came and told me she had no chicken on her plate only mashed potatoes and salad , when they brought it to Stephanie's attention she has nothing to say . After the food incident Stephanie was gone no where to be found. After everything happened I was done with Stephanie the event had past and nothing could be done at that point. After everything happened someone posted a bad review about the wedding on Facebook and Stephanie called my husband to yell at him stating that she did everything and we needed to remove the review because she states nothing was wrong and she did everything good. When I started to explain everything how I saw it she started over talking me and stated $6,400 that she charged me was not enough to complete the event she had promised. The owner Stephanie is very rude and unprofessional. The week before the wedding when we were supposed to pay only $400 remaining for the wedding and see the complete table for the wedding she was late, the table only had a runner, she told us we only had two hours to go the day before the wedding to prepare for it. We go the day before and she doesn’t greet us, does not tell us where to leave drinks, waters, plates etc… she tells the bride that she is live and is talking to her chat, she then says she is leaving for awhile, I ask her until what time we have to do what we need to do and she tells me 12:00pm and does not say if she’s coming back. We finish the arch and we have little decorations and things for dessert table, I had baskets for restrooms. It’s almost 12:00 she is not back so I ask my daughter in law to message her to ask her when she is coming back?? The only person in the venue is a guy who was sleeping on the floor. She replies with “I told you at 12:00 and I opened for you as a courtesy “ we were in shock what does she mean a courtesy and she should have given us more hours to prepare. She came back and sat in her car for a couple minutes. I ask her where the sweetheart table is and points to a table and tells me to move it. I told her I didn’t want to move anything because I didn’t know where to put things it was full of stuff! I ended up moving the things and moving the table, I asked her for a runner for that table she threw one on the table which I thought she would put and never did. I asked her if we could decorate the desert table and again she made me move her things she didn’t put any extra stuff away. She wanted to open the venue at the same time as the ceremony which was going to be there at the venue but I begged her to open 30 minutes earlier. The day of the wedding she wanted to charge my husband for an extra hour which we already paid, thankfully the bride brought the receipt. They didn’t give us bottles that were left. Read moreI had my daughters party there this past weekend and I should seen the red flags when the owner complained when I zelled her payments of $250 every week just so I pay her off faster she said she prefer a larger amount in cash I said no because we prefer zelle since you failed to give us a receipt when we paid cash for the deposit. Another time she said we were going to have 3 different food options for the party she said the meat was to expensive when I paid $4800 I even offered to pay extra to have the food we wanted and she said yes if you serve and do clean up your. Self but that's already in the contract I paid for. Another time when we were supposed to take the kids to practice the dance and how there going to Walk in she calls to tell me only the kids can go in not the adults mind you this kids are 9-13- and 14 and 15 I said now I'm not leaving my children unattended with strangers. Then the day of the party we were supposed meet up at 4 pm for dj setup and the cake alcohol and water sodas and ice needed to be there she didn't even get there till 4:33pm also our party started at 7 pm she had us all waiting outside till 7:15 pm dinner was supposed to be at from 7:30 -8:30 pm she didnt want to serve people because they weren't all seated dinner was served till 9:45pm . Also she didn't want to let people in because the tables were full when I paid for 150 seats and I had 20 seats open . Food was very cheaply made and cold under temperature the silverwear was dirty and not properly washed . And the servers did not have gloves on or hair nets. Bartenders were drinking on the job and not to mention there was only one bathroom for the women and one for the men. Guests were starving and were not allowed a second plate . People were going to Guero canelo and bks and ordering pizzas because the food service was horrible and embarrassing. The flooring and tile was broken cracked and uneven its a fall hazard. She also has a cockroach 🪳 problem my husband killed to sewer roaches. Worse place ever to rent for parties. Oh and she didn't even have a first aide kit in the place at all....
