So first let me say this is NOT a technician issue. This is owner or management. But this is the 3rd consecutive time I have been in the salon for a deluxe pedicure that my technician was dividing her time between me and one other client. They clearly are resisting paying additional staff, and requiring the techs to take on multiple clients at once. They have a routine. They seat you and run the water and then you wait 10 minutes for the technician to finish another client. Then they begin your pedicure. Once they reach a stopping point ( in this case once the parrafin wax treatment was on my feet) they begin on a new client and leave you waiting for 30 minutes until THAT new client is at a stopping point, at which time they finish yours. The last two times I visited it took an hour and 45 minutes, and then almost 2 hours for my pedicure. While I understand this is to be relaxing, I don't have that length of time to spend most days. I have never experienced a deluxe pedicure in any other salon that took much more than an hour. Today I didn't have that long to wait, so after 10 minutes, I said exactly that and was finished in 90 minutes, from seated to paid.
It is important to mention that the pedicure is a good one, and the techs are doing the best they can with what they are given, so I still left a 30% tip. The only negative (and I believe it was this time only) is that she rubbed my legs with a hot damp towel at the end, before starting to paint my toes, which removes all the moisture I just got from the lotions, oils, and massage.
Unfortunately, i have learned my lesson and will have to look for a new salon. It's a shame, because the location is...
Read moreOn May 21, my 17y/o daughter went to have her nails done before her high school graduation at your business (Tracy’s nails.) After paying $45 and leaving a $10 tip she called me in tears because her nails looked horrible and her cuticle was bleeding. Many adults would have refused to pay on the spot or demand they be redone but she is still a child and felt uncomfortable saying anything. Needless to say, I drove over and her nails were horrendous ,she was bleeding and I sought the manger for a refund. The woman who did my daughters nails agreed they did not look good and angrily offered a “quick fix”. I would not allow this woman to touch her bleeding finger and she then told me that if your daughter wants a refund then the only way she will give one is if they cut off her nails that she just did. I was appalled and this employee was rude, verbally aggressive and completely unprofessional. Needless to say all we could do was leave, my daughter out $55, only to wake up with an infection around her cuticle. This was by far the worst experience I have seen at a nail salon and one of the worst examples of basic kindness and humanity to a 17 y/o girl had saved up to have her nails done. You should...
Read moreI love my nail tech Annie she does an amazing job. But I will never go back. At my last service the owner (Susan) yelled at me in front of everyone including customers, only because she called me about my appointment over the weekend and I missed the called. I honestly thought the call was a mistake because it was on a Sunday. Everyone knows they are closed on sundays. That weekend I was so sick and was in bed majority of that day. I came to my schedule appointment as planned. Guess she was upset I didn’t answer my phone. It was the most embarrassing and degrading experience. I kept apologizing but the looked she give me on my way out the door after my appointment it was not a welcoming gesture again in her shop. I scheduled an appointment for today but I just couldn’t find myself to go. I know she or anyone cares but that’s not the way you treat anyone. I always come into the salon with a respectful attitude. Never once have I ever disrespected or treated anyone with any...
