I've been a customer since before it was Burton's. Long, long time. Liked all the staff, enjoyed talking to them. On two separate occasions lately they have raised their price at the counter. Once when the box of wine was marked $16.99, they told me "Sorry" it's $19.99 now in the book.
Again today, a 6-pack of beer was marked $9.95. The clerk (rhymes with "Jerk") said it was $8.09 in the book. I said, "Oh, good, it's was marked $9.95 on the bottles. So he says, "Sorry, you shouldn't have mentioned it. I have to charge you $9.95.

I called and they said I could come back to get it in cash, but of course that meant having to drive 15 minutes back at 9:30 at night after working all day. Just disappointed and feel like this shouldn’t have...

I went grabed my crown that I like and felt like someone was Staring at me. I look up and a employee was looking at the ground. I watched him for like 2 minutes and he was doing anything. He wasn’t. So I was like is he following me trying to see if I’m going to steal. So I walked Up and down three isles and he followed me. I finally ask is him if he was trying to see if I’m stealing. He look dumbfounded. So I put my stuff back, told them about their selves and left. I went to deep discount liquor at 51st and Sheridan. Better place and better prices. They also are willing to help you instead of seeing if you are stealing. I will never go back...
