Posted an ad on CL about wanting to buy a phone. A guy that worked there texted me about them having the phone for sale. I asked him for the IMEI/ESN to check to make sure the phone was clean and ready for a new owner. He kept ignoring me and just kept insisting me to go in and just check it out.
I repeated myself multiple times if I can get the number to check the phones legitimacy then he can consider it sold and I will be at his store during lunch time but he REPEATEDLY ignores what I asked for but yet had the audacity to tell me he has the phone i'm looking for. Nothing makes sense and if anything it seemed fishy. I left him a text message saying once he provides me with the IMEI I will check and then head to his store. Hours go by and I ask if he is still willing to deal with me and he replies that the phone was sold and that he was sorry and they got real busy.
For one I would advise everyone to avoid dealing with people that have such poor communication. They aren't out to make business or have you as a loyal customer, just typical gold diggers trying to make it big just because they open a shop. Communication was poor and his/her English was broken as well. I won't be surprised if the guy reads this and texts me back with insults, that would show...
Read moreTook a tablet in to repair . It was an charging (charge port) that was the only issue. It was on (although only at 21% battery) when I took it in. They charged $25 to take it apart and see the issue. Several hours later they agreed it was the charger port but they needed to order the part. To bring it back in next week. I dropped it off yesterday around 2 pm and was told it would be ready before 7 (it wasn't). Today I get a call that it's fixed but my LCD was going out that they could fix it around $120. Well I knew the screw wasn't going out and declined. When I picked it up there is now water damage......actual water damage lines all through it. They not only charged me for a broken tablet but also had the audacity to tell me it was like that ! Really ? You all took it apart last week if that's the case why wouldn't you tell me that the screen is more important then the battery ?!!! You know damn well it wasn't like that. Someone dropped some sort of fluid on it and now you're trying to pass this off on me. Shame on y'all! A $50 repair turns into me needing a brand new tablet. I use my tablet for work. I will be calling the BBB AS well as the attorney general's office. I will make sure to tell everyone to never use cell phone...
Read moreUses cheap parts that don't function well and don't bother to test them. I took in my iPhone 7 to have the screen replaced and they told me they would have it done in 2 hours. I came back in 2.5 hours and they were still working on it. I waited and they brought it out and the touch screen didn't work on all of the apps on the bottom of the screen. They claimed it must be a bad replacement so they needed to replace it again. I came back 1 hour later and they had replaced it, this time the new screen had a problem in that it would have discoloration when you pushed the thumb/home button or around the top of the screen. They once again told me it must be yet another bad part/screen and would need to replace it again. I came back and picked up the phone (which was now on the 3rd screen they had tried) and I took the phone. Upon testing further, I found that this screen also has issues with discoloration when you put pressure in different areas of the screen. At this point, it is obvious that they don't have any quality screens so it would be a waste to have them replace it again. Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend this place, crappy parts, don't test for defects and wasted a...
