Mangonada is best described as what seems to be both an illogical and logical combination of seasoning, fruit and sorbet. It is an outrageous schizophrenic sensory experience of conflicting, tastebud confusing, textures and flavors. Sweet, sour, spicy hot, ice cold, tart, tangy, chewy, salty, smooth, and fresh fruity. The only dessert that will burn your tongue from chili powder and give you a brain freeze at the same time. I am no expert on the concoction, but the big serving I had at La Michoacana PLUS was absolutely delicious. My wife had the Fresas con Crema. This is a deceptively rich dessert. Fresh strawberries, cream, whipped cream and my wife added granola….to make it healthy. Fresh fruit, an acre of drinks and ice cream options, great service in a store with a blinding colorful interior. We dropped in at about 3PM. There were just a few customers in front of us. By 3:30 there was a line out the door. About half of the customers were mothers bringing their kids in for an after school treat. The rest were laborers coming for a midafternoon treat to cool off. They do a big business at this time of the day. So, if you are a Mangonada aficionado, or have a sweet tooth that can only be satisfied with sweet and cold at the same time, here is your neighborhood sweet treat dealer!

Instead of the usual Mexican dessert place we are used to going to down the road, we decided to try this new place out. It did not dissapoint! No offense to hip establishments where the majority of the patrons aren't from the ethnic group of the theme of the establishment, but having the majority of the patron if not all except for my little family being Mexican or Latinx reassured me that this joint is going to be lit! Boy were we right! English is limited so be prepared to point fingers at the menu or whip out google translate. Honestly, just part of the experience. But more importantly, I did not feel unwelcomed at any point in time. We got a couple popsicles which were made with real fruits and a drink. Everything hit the spot as it should. Would definitely recommend and will be back to try other things when I'm in the area.

Welp, this place is definitely worth going too. The variety of desserts, snacks, and types of drinks they serve here is amazing. Sweetthooth, dry pallet, or snack cravings this is the place to definitely visit. If you have kids, grandchildren, grown adults, middle age, young adults, this is the place to chill literally. There is a wide variety of ice cream flavors that you would have never thought existed, but here it's possible. This is a very lively place, and the staff are friendly. Depending on when you go they might be busy, so be patient, and if there is a line, great, because this will give you plenty of time to make up your mind, and decide several times. My wife said I just want something small, and next I know she's eating a banana-split-boat! I just went with the shake. Soooooooo good too.

The worst customer service ever! I came with a big party over 10 people and only 1 person attended us until we eventually said something, and even then it took someone a while to come help her out. The manager (Lizette at the time) came to ask if we needed help and we explained to her that the coworker needed help and the manager( Lizette) just walked off and started helping another party. Then we asked the person who was attending us if we can have our ice cream/milkshakes since we still had a lot to order and we didn’t want our stuff to melt and she said she couldn’t give us our items until we paid but she would put them in the cooler for us. Then my daughter asked me if she can have her milkshake while they are still doing the rest of the order and I told my daughter we had to wait a little bit until we paid. Then I saw two employees were laughing at me since I had to tell her to wait. Then I asked to speak to the manager and I realized that one of the employees that were laughing was the manager. I told her oh so the employee laughing at me is the manager and I told her that’s not good customer service. Worst experience ever! If they want to start fixing one problem they should write things down so they don’t forget what people order and don’t have to worry about people not paying for the full order instead of letting customers receive melted products. Then to top it off the restroom was disgusting with yellow and orange liquid on the toilet seat all the way to floor, no hand soap, no toilet paper. I don’t see how people...

I got esquites a large hot Cheetos con queso, 2 bottles waters and a large agua fresca. It came out to a little over 20 dollars. They were super busy and not many of the employees were bilingual, this made it a little difficult too order and I missed out on any customizations I would have wanted. I’d also suggest the put hot sauce out on the tables for people to add as they please. When I asked for Valentina for the elote they gave me a very little amount. Also what I saw is that there were too many people working at one area of the whole line. You would only have 1 person taking orders, 4 people making said order and 2 people checking out. This made the line slow. I’d recommend splitting people up to specific stations so your chips, your corn, your ice cream etc that way all orders can move swiftly and smoothly. Overall I would try this place again maybe when they...
