Firstly, let me say how truly amazing it was to work with Rachel on a very special custom piece for my mom. I could talk about how beautiful the necklace she created is, but photos can illustrate that better . Instead, I would rather share my story of how the necklace came to be.
I recently lost my dad in April to a brief battle with cancer. He passed just a few months before my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. Their love story is one for the books, and my siblings and I wanted to do something to honor that love for their golden anniversary. I had seen Rachel's work and fell in love not only with her pieces, but most importantly, the passion she has for her work. I brought Rachel my mom's engagement ring from 1970. I knew I wanted to have it turned into a necklace that she would want to wear every day. I secretly took it from my mom's jewelry safe and brought it to Rachel, along with some of my dad's ashes to be incorporated into the necklace. She immediately sensed the importance of this piece and expressed how honored she was to be working on such a special gift. I too felt honored to be working with her.
What Rachel created was pure magic. She used the gold band as the setting for the diamond, and placed my dad's ashes underneath the stone. The polished silver backing makes it even more spectacular. It was her idea to also use the yellow gold from the band to place three small dots underneath the diamond, to represent me and my two siblings. All of the love my parents created together, from the beginning of their story to the very end, is all captured in this one beautiful piece. When I went to pick up the necklace, tears flowed from my eyes, as did Rachel's.
The love and energy she gave to this incredibly special piece, can be both felt and seen. Everyone who has been shown the necklace and knows my parents' love story, has also shed tears, and have been incredibly moved by it. Rachel puts her heart and soul into her work. That care and love is what makes the gift we will be surprising my mom with in a couple of days even more special and meaningful. I will smile every time I see her wearing it, knowing that my dad is forever with her, and all of us.
Thank you Rachel from the bottom of my heart ❤️

Read moreI first encountered Rachel Rose in a gallery in the Tulsa Arts district. I had been looking for a birthday present for my sister for what seemed for ever, and when I met the friendly and confident Rachel, I had a feeling she would be able to think outside the box and create pieces that would complement and represent my sister’s personality and style.
Five custom pieces, and three over the counter pieces later, each for my sister, niece and myself, needless to say, Rachel came through with something special, on time, every time.
Rachel and her husband Seth have a big studio, which I love to visit. It is a big, open, and friendly space which showcases their stunning jewelry, with a view of their workshop, and a place for customers to chat.
For each custom order, I would visit, and we would talk about the person she was making it for. This was so she would get an idea of personality, style, likes, dislikes etc. We would then agree on a general concept. Later she would draw it up, and text me a picture for approval.
I love how she takes the time to really listen, and with an uncanny ability to know what will work for each person, Rachel makes jewelry for all occasions and personalities: from heavier, more substantial statement pieces, to airy and light, but always elegant, and with excellent craftsmanship.
I wear my pieces whenever I can, my sister mentions her love for hers almost every time I talk to her, and my niece, who now has two pair of earrings, one pair she loves to wear for dressier occasions, and one she says she loves for “the simple, but unique design that makes them perfect to wear all the time.” Thank you, thank...
Read moreRachel is keenly intuitive, a gem genius, and extremely kind. She is the real deal. Look no further for your bespoke fine jeweler. Let me explain.
I went to Rachel, a little shy, with a request to transform my two broken wedding rings into something meaningful, symbolic, and timeless. Rachel’s incredibly kind demeanor put me at ease immediately as we discussed how these metal and stone pieces of my heart could melt and mold into a new version of the love that represents my 30 year relationship with my husband. And also be something that was uniquely for me. Rachel met with me several times and exchanged countless emails, listening to me trying to describe what I wanted. She never expressed frustration with my indecision, instead always reassuring me it was important to take the time to find what felt right.
She designed not just 1 ring but 5; three stunning engagement ring options and two wedding bands. All magnificently showcasing her creativity as well as her unwavering resolve to provide the gems with a solid setting to call home. Bringing her creations one step closer to life, she and her husband, Seth, cast all three engagement rings in 3-D molds for me to take home and try out.
I will forever cherish my rings, but also the care and compassion in which Rachel and her husband showed me in the process. A beautiful and now cherished handwritten note came with my rings, reassuring me I had not only invested in something sound and beautiful, but that I had also chosen the right people to walk that path with. I hope you will...
