We recently had a highly disappointing experience with a couch purchase, which left us feeling frustrated and inconvenienced. After carefully selecting a couch from Couch+Co, we arranged to pick it up the next day to ensure we would have it before thanksgiving. However, when we picked up the couch and brought it home, we realized it was the wrong set. We picked out and purchased a sectional. We were given a sofa and love seat with the chaise base.
When I contacted the company to inform them of the mix-up, they requested video evidence as proof. While I understand the need for verification, I found it inconvenient and frankly bizarre that it didnât seem like they believed me. Nonetheless, I complied with their request and sent them the video.
Unfortunately, their response to my situation was far from satisfactory. Instead of offering to rectify their mistake by arranging a pickup for the incorrect couch and delivering the correct one, the said because they didnât have the actual sectional we had purchased that we could have the current (wrong) set and they would refund us $200 of our $1500 or we could have their floor model which was a very light gray and I told him multiple times we didnât want that one because it was too light, or we could pick another set which was more money and they could MAYBE deliver it the next day after closing. What they gave us felt so cheap and was exactly what we didnât want and was most certainly not a $1300 set, Iâd say $700 MAYBE. They did not offer any assistance in retrieving the merchandise, leaving us to deal with the inconvenient task of returning the set to their premises ourselves. We finally decided on another sectional and we agreed on the price so we were to take the original set back and pick up the new one. On the way there, we decided to just return it for a full refund and be done with them. We headed straight to Mathis Brothers and picked out a couch that we LOVE.
Not only did this situation cause us significant inconvenience, but it also wasted our time and money. We had to spend additional resources on transportation to return the couch to the company's location, which was an unnecessary burden placed on our due to their error.
The lack of customer service and the company's failure to take responsibility for their mistake was deeply disappointing. It is disheartening when a company fails to stand behind the quality of their products and provide the necessary support to rectify an error on their part.
I hope that other customers will be spared from a similarly frustrating experience and that the company takes steps to improve their customer support and accountability.

Sales guy said the $1399 was for the floor display model only. The âactualâ price of the couch was $1650. Now, no where on the sign did it state floor model only. If you ask me, when you advertise a price on paper it should be that price especially if your customer already paid and walked out the door. Nothing against our salesman it was the greed of the owner. Owner wanted to discount us on the floor model after but itâs the principle of how you run your business.
This was the advertised price for âBlack Fridayâ do not advertise Black Friday when clearly you do not have Black Friday deals. Iâd rather you have a sign on the couch that clearly states FLOOR MODEL ONLY.

I was really discouraged at prices at other stores and once i found couch and co i was stunned by all the affordable and trendy sectionals they have! The staff was so easy to work with and were not just trying to sell us something and get us out the door. It was a great experience from start to finish and they even worked with us to get a remaining piece of our modular couch and delivered it and set it up at our house right when they got it.
