Tulsa Farmers' Market — Local services in Tulsa

Haven't been this year thanks to COVID-19 but last year I went around 10 times. There's always a great selection of produce and locally crafted goods at fair prices. They have just about every veggie you can think of, a smaller but still decent selection of fruits and berries, fresh bread and dairy, locally sourced meat and honey, beer and wine from local breweries and vineyards, plants and flowers from independently owned nurseries, and a bit of artisan decor. Most vendors take credit but I still find cash is much easier because it takes less time than fiddling with the card reader-- if you do go the cash route, be sure to bring more than you think you'll need, I guarantee you'll find lots to love! The only thing you might not enjoy is parking which is always a bit challenging in that area anyways. Just be sure to arrive a bit early and you shouldn't...

Tulsa Farmer's Market is such a gem! You can buy all of your food for the week locally. The quality of the produce is amazing! And today I purchased a bottle of vodka made right here in Tulsa and bought a walk around bloody Mary to try it out and it was the best one I've ever had. I went last week and scored this stunning driftwood with amazing little purple flowers on it. Today i got some brightly multicolored flowers from a guy. I asked him if they would bring all the butterflies to my yard and he said yes so I snagged 3. Apricot thyme goat cheese crumbles and applewood smoked gouda cheese. Sounds almost pornographic and I can't wait to put them in my mouth. Grabbed some baby kale and a salad mix. Looking forward to what treasures await me...

Please do not go. Yes, they have fresh veggies, mushrooms, plants,local honey and meats ..and please don't get me started on the baked goods. I just blew my diet this morning. But please do not go. It is crowded enough already and sometimes that's a problem. This morning I could not get butterflied pork chops because they were sold out. They have such great stuff at excellent prices, so please don't come and don't tell others about it. Let's just keep it our little secret.
