Beware: Misleading Membership Tactics & Poor Customer Service
I had a fantastic massage therapist at this location (the one super star is for her!), so I kept booking sessions with them. Seeing the quality, I was persuaded to purchase a 20-session membership, thinking Iād continue receiving the same great service. Huge mistake.
Just two weeks after I bought the package, the best therapist left. Suddenly, every time I called to book, they told me they were āfully bookedā or pushed me to other locations. Even when I tried booking for the next day, they refused, saying I could only book on the same day. Then, when I called at opening time, theyād still say it was full. This is clearly a tactic to trap membership holders while prioritizing new, full-paying customers.
To potential customers: ⢠If youāre going for a single session, be aware that their best therapist is gone. ⢠Service quality is now inconsistent, and customer treatment is poor.
To upper management: ⢠If you allow your locations to operate this way, your business will suffer long-term. ⢠Deceiving members by taking their money and then refusing service is not a sustainable practice. ⢠Customers are not foolsāthis kind of dishonesty will drive people away.
DO NOT fall for their membership trap. Once they have your money, they no longer care about providing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was always such a good spot for massages until recently. I went in for a massage today with my wife. Massage was pretty bad (no effort, very light pressure despite telling them otherwise). The masseuse seemed like she was just going through the motions and barely put in any effort.
When I was paying for the massage, I tipped $12.5 (16 %) for the $75 massage. However, the masseuse insisted that I had to tip at least $15 because āit was the store policyā. Iāve been coming here for years & have never heard of this policy ever. Iām always happy to tip more if the service is good - however, I donāt appreciate being forced to tip more than I deemed fair given the service. FWIW she seemed like a newer masseuse since Iāve never seen her at this location before.
Other experiences in the past have been great, but this past experience has definitely stopped me from...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a massage about 7 weeks ago,the masseuse manipulated my left hip in a manner that damaged my glute muscle. I am still recovering, and my back is in constant pain now. I have been to over 10 chiropractic treatments for this injury and have now had a full lower back and hip MRI by an orthopedic doctor to determine the extent of damage. I would be very cautious at this location; make sure to have an intake form done, as they did not do that with me. I have used their other studios in the past and never had anything like this happen. I called the location a few days later and let them know they did not seem too concerned. I wanted them to know and told them to please be careful with...
