Hey, call me old fashion, (not just old), but I like Summer sports, small-town Fouth of July parades and spectacles, and reruns of Milton Berle on Peacock, and I am really happy to bring this exciting time travel, eh, new store, to everyone's attention in Southeast Wisconsin.

Pine Acres General Store was an experimental visit on a Sunday afternoon to find a new ice cream parlor near Union Grove. And wouldn't you know it? They just opened in 2021 after building a great food truck business. Gourmet popcorn and a variety of mostly Wisconsin produced foods, ingredients, and useful memorabilia, like cat- and dog-themed kitchenware (and socks, too?) in a classic storefront set the tone beautifully.

The Grochowskis personally ensure a terrific customer experience, sharing their culinary expertise and the backgrounds of the manufacturers of their products. If you're looking for cones, cups, shakes, and floats without the sterility of chains like DQ, Thirty-some flavors, and others, take a ride down Main Street in Union Grove, Wisconsin and enjoy the time travel to an era of customer-friendly service and delightful ice cream treats and fresh popcorn (We bought the plain, buttered, sour cream & chives, and cheddar - We didn't try the dill, buffalo, or apple flavored varieties this time around, but like Mars Cheese Castle, we'll be back.). And yes, Jessie, I enjoyed a mint chocolate chip milk shake, too. I might try the BasicBean ice cream (expresso beans) as a root beer or even cola float...

What a cute, unique place! They have unique food items you will not find at the local grocery store. Which are not only great gift ideas but also support local and small businesses. I bought the Pepper Jack stuffed olives and a Bourban Butterscotch soy candle, smells soooo good!!! They have also have old fashioned candy. Spices, honey, marinades, salsa's, sauces, dried soups, gifts, cards, and more...

They make their own popcorn here, so many flavors! They also have 20 flavors of ice cream every day as well as milkshakes/malts, pints to go. They announce the ice cream flavors every week, follow their Facebook page to find out what flavors will be available for the upcoming weekend.

They have events there for kids so watch for that on their Facebook as well as holiday events.

The Owner, Christie, she is amazing! I could talk to her for hours and hours! If its your first time there, hopefully you will get to meet and talk to her, and find out more about the community and upcoming events hosted in Union Grove.

You can tell she really cares about the community and all of the local businesses and what the community does together to support eachother and others. Great visit! Glad...

Great Store... loved my Blueberry Cheescake Ice Cream and Their Cheddar Cheese Popcorn is outstanding. I love the feel of their Store, so inviting, so charming, and I love the candy selection from a time of our youthful past 😊 .. highly recommend. Stop in and say Hi to Julie and her Husband. They have a super great business right here on Main Street...
