The staff has worked hard to make sure there customers are taken care of, this is a small town hardware store, there prices are going to be higher, they are not a large box store where they can buy supplies in large bulk and get a discount.. Look at this this way, to drive to menards is a 20 min drive ( give or take ) the gas to get there and not to mention there is never anyone around to help when you need it, and then there is the drive home, I do not feel it is worth it, if your only getting a few items..... they have overhead cost, this is a family owned business.... Please remember this is the local hardware store. If you are not a "local" you may have a different experience. The tall man that other reviewers are clobbering is not so bad. Whenever I am looking for a hard to find bolt or some other hardware he does his best to help me. Also, whenever he walks down the isles he asks me if I need help. If you are in a hurry and don't have time for a 50 minute round trip to the big box stores give them a try, and don't be so damn critical....it's a hardware store. (I get no help at Menard's, the kids are too busy talking about what they did...

Always have the best service before and after the sale. The "tall man" is Cliff and I can't remember ever meeting someone that knows more about building and materials than him. He is a super busy guy. Running this place, stocking, ordering, and helping all he can. Some days are better than others but a very good dude. Their materials may be a bit more expensive than Menards but a special order only takes a few days compared to weeks and everything they sell is a much better than any box store. From...
