Township Tan — Local services in Union Township

Update!!!! So 2 years after this review I had a HORRIBLE experience here!!! 2 months ago I went here to relax and get some me time and a little color.. It's my one treat to myself that I really look forward to. I had a really stressful week and was so excited to go tanning,I got there and went in at about 4:20.

This is the 3rd time I've gone now that I haven't recognized anyone. No big deal.. However the 1st time I had my daughter with me who is 11 and they asked me when I went back if I wanted her to stay out there with them and I thought that was strange because I didn't know any of them and I wouldn't leave my daughter in a store front with people I don't know and try to relax for 15 mins? It kind of bothered me but I didn't think much of it after that just that they were being nice and I was being weird.. So I went in after my long week and this being my 3rd time with all new people . I got my room and went back. I put my headphones and laid down. It felt so good and warm. I have neuropathy in my feet and legs very bad so the warmth of the tanning beds helps a lot with pain..

The next thing I remember is waking up abruptly and then the door opened and there was a Union township COP and like 4 ladies from the front all standing there staring at me in my bikini top and thong. I have gone here for 4 years and have never had one problem and I have NEVER fallen asleep in a tanning bed. That alone would have me embarrassed and now all of this. The cop proceeded to question me and asked me if I was on drugs he tried to watch me get dressed I asked him if I could have privacy he banged on the door three more times while it was open..

My boyfriend was outside he came in during all of this. I have never been so embarrassed in my life. I have never done drugs. I have had health problems and had a kidney transplant so if anything I would be dead OR need medical attention before I would need a cop there.!!!!!

THE COP SAID HE SEES THIS KIND OF THING ALL THE TIME SO AM I ON DRUGS.

AND WE ARE LIKE WHAT SOMEONE FALLING ASLEEP LAYING DOWN IN A WARM BED????

I will NEVER go back here!!! And all this happened around 5pm. So I guess I was sleeping with my headphones in for about 15mins....

I found out that they have NEW OWNERS. ..

Everyone that works here is so kind and it's very clean inside... One of my favorite...

I used to tan here all the time... For Year's. So they knew who I was(Mary Ann) well one day I went in to tan I did my 15 mins and I came out n was looking at her clothes and purses(which I have bought from many times and spent hundreds there ) I didn't see anything I wanted and Maryanne the owner was talking with 2 other customers so I just left... To Be followed Out by Mary Ann and the other 2 customers accusing me of stealing. Well even after she found that I stole nothing just turned around and went back into the store. No apology. N I'm sorry I was wrong. Bad business. Cause I will never ever go back into that establishment for as long as I live and neither will my friends or family. I was so embarrassed and horrified by her accusations and she couldn't Even have the decency to say she was wrong or sorry. I even have several tanning sessions left that she can have. I just hope it was...

I'm a senior and prefer a private spray tan instead of up close and personal 🙃 with my aging skin so this was the only place I could find that still offered me a spray tan that I desired. I went in before going to a movie up the street and came out looking as if I'd been laying out all along to get my beautiful tan! I loved it! It makes anyone, even seniors like me, look and feel so much better too! It was a great experience for me so I recommend getting a little color to everyone! The staff was so nice too which always helps if you're comfortable where you're at. It's been awhile and I can't wait to get back...
