Los Amigos Family Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Union Township

I went to Los Amigos on 11/25/23 at 8 P.M. and I ordered the Super Chicken Quesadilla which was recommended by the waitress. The staff was very attentive to my wife and daughter’s needs when we first sat down. My wife ordered two soft tacos one steak and one chicken taco. My daughter ordered two beef tacos off of the kids menu with a side of fries. We also ordered a pitcher of the lime margarita. Along with an 8 piece of mango habanero chicken wings. The food took about 20 minutes to come out which was fine. I was full off of the wings, I decided to just cut a piece of the super chicken quesadilla and remove some of the onions and peppers from the inside. We then got three to go boxes for the tacos and the quesadilla. Once we got back home and decided to reheat some of the food from the Los Amigos my wife realized that the inside of the quesadilla had a very sharp object that fell inside of the pan. This object is about an inch long and is very sharp if I would’ve consumed this object I’m honestly not sure if I’d be here to even type out this review. I Have Contacted Los Amigos and I’m Awaiting A Full Refund For Their Negligence When Serving Sharp Objects To It’s Patrons. Myself wife and daughter are Highly Disappointed as this was our first time at this restaurant and we were referred to try this restaurant. Something Needs To Be Done Especially When An Object Like This Is In One’s Food. There Needs To Be Repercussions For Such A Blatant Disregard Of My Families Life & My Life. I absolutely adore this place.Their food is delicious! The staff are amazing! The place is clean! One manager always ends our conversations with "God bless" which is also amazing and greatly appreciated. The workers/owners are extremely nice and hospitable and they care about their customers. It's very rare that you go somewhere and you feel like you matter as a person not just the amount of money you spend. I ordered a Doordash delivery and something happened with my order, on my end, and I was missing some food. So I put in a pickup order through Doordash and commented on there that there was a mix-up and that I wanted to pick the food up as soon as possible so that my boys meals didn't get too cold. When I picked it up one of the owners/managers brought me the food and told me that he gave me fresh meals for free! It wasn't even their fault! It was something I did wrong but they cared enough about my boys being able to eat hot food that they made me fresh meals and did not charge me. I hope you all (staff/owners) read this review and know that you are truly appreciated and are wonderful...

So there's these Ocean enchiladas. They are stuffed full of langostinos and shrimp and smothered in this AMAZING cheese sauce! The shrimp was so flavorful and juicy, unlike the rubbery shrimp I normally end up with when I get shrimp from a restaurant. The cheese sauce kinda adopted a slight shrimp flavor from them sitting together. It was so good. I had to dip my chips in it and was kind of sad that I didn't have more to smother my chips. My pina colada was so creamy and strong! My second one I decided to experiment and order half cherry margarita and the other half pina colada. The freaking cherry tasted like a cherry starburst! I wish I would have just started with that. It was sooooo gooood! 🤤 The staff was so sweet and attentive. I never had an empty glass and he kept checking to make sure we were enjoying our food. I don't think I have ever had a bad experience here. Great place. Good food, great drinks, and good atmosphere. Some of the best times with my friends were staged at this place....
