My fiance and I purchased 2 of their Vital Dash Cams (or should I say scam cams) in September 2024. We were really excited to get them for our cars. They are currently listed as the best rated on several consumer review sites and the website said they offered a 100% money back guarantee within 30 days if you aren't satisfied with the order. Let's just say I'm incredibly disappointed and angry with what we got and how horrendous the customer service is!! The instructions are for the wrong product and are so small that it's hard to read anyway. It's also clear that it was written by a company not based in the United States because the spelling and grammar is HORRENDOUS! The quality of the product is similar to Wish. It's obviously a VERY cheap product and feels like it could break if the wind hit it just right. On top of that, I've been going back and forth with customer service since Sept. 28th trying to get the information to return the product. They have offered to refund me 50%, 75%, and 85% of what I paid so I "wouldn't have to go through the hassle of returning them." I called customer service to confirm the return address and was advised that $42 of my $133 order is non-refundable. Also, I would be responsible for return shipping costs, and a 15% restocking fee. If you are considering a Dash Cam for your car, I HIGHLY advise you to AVOID this product or any dash cam that is a Vital Dash Cam (it has been rebranded several times, from what I can tell.) This product is cheap, customer service is horrendous, their 30 day 100% money back guarantee is a lie, and they never inform you that part of your order is non-refundable. I ordered 3 of these dashcams because I saw online that this was one of the best. I won’t do that again. I will do more research next time. I opened the box and took out the hook up manual and noticed that the manual did not match up to the dash cam I was sent. So I called the number on the shipping receipt (thank goodness I kept it because there is no phone number for a customer service on the box or on the manual) and of course someone from India answered. I told the person that the manual did not match the cam I got and was told that I would be emailed a new manual. That was a week ago and no email. I called again today and got an email giving me a website to get the manual and of course I went to the website and all it showed was pictures of the box that the cam comes in. I sent another email and I received the same email but from a different person. I now have five emails that are all the same but all have different names at the end. This company is a scam. I ordered an alpha heat vest off of the alpha heat vest website which has rave reviews and even from consumer reports and one, it was a child size not adult, 2, only had half of the vest filled with heat coils and 3, they were not clear on how to return it. After numerous emails on how to return with full refund I got nowhere until I threatened them that I would take this issue to the BBB. I got my full refund. This company needs to be shut down!
