There’s no way this restaurant is owned by a Nigerian, just no way and if it is SHAME on you SHAME ON YOU!!!! How can you be so wicked to sell disgusting poor quality food to people. I’ll be reporting this business to the better business bureau. Immediately I opened the container of food, my heart dropped, it looked so disgusting, smelled so bad and tasted like sewage. I’m not being over dramatic. I was traumatized by everything, I can’t even explain it. It’s not Nigerian food, not made by a Nigerian, because there’s just no way. What kind of human beings are these people. It’s obvious they are only in business to make money and profit, not giving a care in the world the kind of food they give people to eat. Food is not even good enough for animals, belongs in the gutter!! The owner and cooks, you people are very sick and your mindset… I don’t even know the kind of mindset you have to serve people gutter food. Shame on YOU!! And don’t even comment under my post unless you’re shameless, nothing you can say! No excuse!! First picture I uploaded is the Edikang Ikong $25 and last picture is Bitter Leaf Soup $25.

My second nasty experience here, I ordered coconut rice they served something different and still claim it is coconut rice, no aroma and taste of coconut. When I complained about the food, they said home made food is different from restaurant food. For God sake, I have ordered Coconut rice in Restaurant before in Nigeria and it was not greenish n taste like fried rice. I complained to the manager and she said that's the way they made their food, we are in diaspora and we patronize African Restaurant to have a taste of the food we left behind. They even forgot to put cutlery when they serve the food. To give them a benefit of a doubt, I ordered Fried Rice to compare with the coconut rice, I ended up wasting my money. If you have high taste for food don't expect too much from this restaurant. That's my personal experience, their jollof rice is okay.

There is no way an upstanding Nigerian is running this circus! If your offering jollof rice...and I ORDERED jollof rice. Why am I receiving WHITE rice???? Please make it make sense. Abomination. The manager is trash, how are you running an establishment, and are NO WHERE to be found! I called to ask about my order, mind you i work at a hospital im a specialist You're, I don't have time to be running back and forth! Get the order right the first time,or take it off the menu! * this is what you call FALSE ADVERTISING* aka 419! You're better off ordering from other Naija restaurants (irvington, newark, and east orange! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY at this place! As a nigerian, I am disappointed. Goat meat barely any flavor, and 22.00+ for food, WASNT WORTH IT! This is oyinbo food period, NOT Authentic Najia food! They lied Ooo! Do better!

I'm very disappointed! Why? Because I had high expectation for this place as a first time customer. I ordered Nkwobi as the main which was an apology (consist of bones, 2 miserable looking ring onions, and overflowing oil), with jollof rice (nice)as add on. The former was nothing to write home about. The preparation, presentation, and taste was a disgrace and an absolute insult to the origin of that meal. A waste of my time, effort, and money. ABUJA restaurant needs to do better.
