Brought my vintage tascam recording machine here back on 4/20/21 after hearing they do a great job on those types of electronics, however as of the day I'm writing this (10/13/21) the machine is still not finished, they won't give me an estimate of what I pay when it is done, the person who answers the phone is very minimal and short with me when I call, and the past two times I've called I just get led to a full voice-mail box. I've tried asking if I can help by ordering parts online or having them 3d printed. 7 months of waiting with poor communication, I'll change my review appropriately if I ever get my machine...

I called yesterday with some questions about a possible TV repair, and the technician was very generous in taking some time out of his day to listen to me and give some input on what might be going on with the TV, despite having other things going on.

Work of this nature can oftentimes be thankless, despite taking an immense amount of time and experience. In the era of everything being so corporate, Champaign is lucky that this business is around. Glenn is terrific! We had him work on our vintage record player and are so happy with the results. It is a family heirloom, so we didn't want to just junk it. Glenn contacted an out of state source to replicate the exact part that was broken and repaired it in his shop. He's courteous and friendly. There aren't many places that will work on vintage electronics; tvs, radios, monitors, record players, ect; he's got it all in the shop and services everything himself.
