This was our 2nd time visiting CU Adventures and we had a blast! The 1st time we visited we played: Game Night, Revenge of the Cabin, Rise of Icarus, and Castle Dracula (no longer there). During our visit today we played: Calling All Villains, Forest of Fables, Scrooge's Christmas Trap, and Wizard's Curse. Like always, all of them were excellent.
Calling All Villains was the first game we played today and it really was a race against the clock. Sierra was our game guide and she did an amazing job at helping us when needed.
We then played Forest of Fables, their newest game, and it was our personal favorite due to the detail they put into this game. Lyn, our in-game game guide, did a phenomenal job of playing and keeping in character throughout the whole game.
Our third game, Scrooge's Christmas Trap, got us into the Christmas spirit. There were a few tricky puzzles within it that had us stumped. Our game guide, Morgan, was a big help when we were stumped on those tricky puzzles.
The final game we played was Wizard's Curse and it's a great game if you are into any type of sorcery or magic. Even though it was a compact room, it still had alot of cool features within it. When it came to mixing potions or casting spells, our game guide, Kayt, did a great job at guiding us through without spoiling any answers.
Out of the games we played during our last visit, Game Night was our personal favorite. It was one of the most unique games we have played overall, with so many different elements within. Sarah Jane was our in-game game guide and she helped add to the immersion of the game by never breaking character especially when we asked dumb/funny questions.
Rise of Icarus was a well made room that included many high tech aspects. Unfortunately, we don't remember the name of our game guide, but they helped us when needed.
Revenge of the Cabin is a great room to play if you are into horror themed things or are looking for a good scare, especially during Halloween time. Again, we don't remember who we had as our game guide, but they did a terror-ific job at startling us throughout the game.
Castle Dracula was such a large room, it even had a slide within it! The in-game game guide, like always, made the game so much fun. We were sad to hear that it was leaving, as it was a game that we would've played again.
Overall, this is an amazing location with outstanding games and very friendly game guides/owners. Will definitely visit again in the future to play any new or updated games as well as any of...

My friends and I played it to do something interesting on one of our group chats and had a great time. With just zoom (or googlemeet or Discord) a printer and some scissors, you can click your way through 3 rooms of puzzles. It's easy to use, gorgeous to look at, and challenging enough to be fun but not too frustrating (we used 1 hint). Even though IL is re-opening, I recommend this as a way to stay safe and have fun, maybe introduce people outside CU to the greatness that is CUATS!
I wrote this about their previous location, but the new space is amazing! I have continued to keep up with each new adventure they release and always enjoy myself. It's unsurprising that local filmmakers and designers have made such high-quality, interesting, and challenging "escape rooms". (quotes because participants are never locked inside a room...which is comforting and does not detract from the fun). Every adventure has meticulous attention to detail, immersive sets and props, humorous pop-culture references, and features talented local actors you will likely recognize, which makes it even more enjoyable! (If you're not local, it is still fun because they are earnest, well-costumed, and convincing) While my friends are all amazingly intelligent, we have still come down to the wire on some of the adventures, so it is a challenge but not impossible, and the great staff are good at giving hints that just nudge you enough without giving too much away. After completing eight of the epic quests on offer, I will say this establishment has made an...
Read moreSo, I have two friends who have never done an escape room, and one of them was having a birthday! I booked The Cabin for the three of us. This was my first visit to Adventures in Time and Space.
From the moment we arrived, I could tell this was going to be a great experience. I've done probably about 8 escape rooms, so I have experience, and everyone here was very friendly. There were cool things to look at, and even a unique game to play in the lobby. Try it out, you'll be happy you did!
The game master was very helpful and welcoming. I told him that we had two new people, and to explain everything as if none of us had ever done a room before. He did a great job of explaining everything, and then he guided us into the room. He got into character, which was really fun, and he explained why we were there. One of us stayed in character as well, and that was an extra fun experience.
The puzzles were challenging in a very good way, but not impossible. You're given 60 minutes to complete the room, and we completed it with about four and a half minutes to spare! Winning the room always makes it even more fun.
The puzzles were a mix of what I would have expected in an escape room, but there were also quite a few that I've never seen before. That made for a really great experience.
I was visiting town, and it makes me a little sad that I can't just go back next week to try to tackle another room. Still, I loved this place, and the people were really what made the experience fantastic. This ranks as one of my favorite Escape Room Venues, and if I ever have a chance to visit the area again, I will absolutely return.
Thank you to the staff for helping make my friend's birthday extra fun...
