I don't see how they have so many good reviews. I used them on HiBid. I was winning two auctions and won them. One auction was paid for and one was declined by the bank. (Two charges within 10 minutes in different states will do that) I was at work the next day, and we were in meetings all day. I didn't have much personal time. I turned on the computer at 7pm. When I turned on the computer, I started to receive nasty texts. This is from a man that I had placed a bid with a few days prior Keep in mind in one month, that I purchased hundreds of dollars. The man started to send me very inappropriate, rude, and harassing messages. (not champaign). I will be contacting the federal trade commission on this man, as the texts were nasty. And he was threatening me via email at midnight. He screen shot me what Champaign auction wrote, which all the other auctioneers can see. "Member for less than a month and her card is already declining. She did not respond to email. We'll try to call her next week, but this is sketchy that a new member registered with a bad card." Then gave me "red points" in the system. So you realize that when you bid and a card gets declined it doesn't mean that the customer is sketchy... right??? Use Logic. It's an auction. If you win a few things, hello? As I said, I got home at 7. Had to call the bank and see an email from them... "Care to explain?" Not very professional. Then your fellow auctioneer is texting me a million times. They did this so quickly after the auction ended, why would I want to buy anything from them? Completely off and unprofessional. And in other words as well, We're going to make sure she can't bid again and will place junk in her auction profile to attempt to blacklist her but contact her next week to pay for her order.
*And no, I saw what the owner wrote. I can post a picture of what they left me on HiBid. I am not sure what part of I was at work, they did not understand. And they left me a negative review on HiBid, though I am not allowed to share my experience on here? Nope. I had an email for the invoice. I had an email which I saw when I came home from work. Then the screen shoot from a fellow auctioneer with what they wrote. So with attempting to blacklist me, I did tell them to keep what I bid on because it was unprofessional.
A simple what is going on with your bank would have been fine, though they left this (pictured below) for every auctioneer to see.
I am not sure what I am "scamming" with an auction when you can simply go to the items...
Read moreChampaign County Auctions & Estates is one of the most professional organizations we’ve worked with. First and foremost, they are responsive and detail oriented. They set up an appointment quickly to look over the items in question and give advice as to what would sell well. Their contract was simple, straightforward, and fair. We promptly set up a time for pick up of the items, the online auction timeline, and all agreed-upon dates were adhered to.
Once we committed to working with CCAE, we decided all items would be moved to their location for auction. The process for them to sort through everything, pack up the items, photo/catalog/describe them, and get the online auctions going was swift. Their on-site workers did a great job and were polite. Nothing was broken or lost. The house was not damaged with them moving furniture out. Within one month, everything was sold and our entire sale was closed and paid.
Working with John and his team at CCAE was seamless and painless during a hectic time. We appreciate their work and highly recommend them for...
Read moreBid $55.00 and won a lot of knives. Only one in there worth anything but in the photo's only one side was shown on that particular knife and the reason was the bolster on the one side was totally missing, knife was in very bad shape spring broken lock was broken release was broken. Was quoted $275.00 to fix it from the knife's maker.. I asked questions days in advance but got the "Too late to check on it answer" reply. other knives showed both sides but not the "Valuable" one I feel taken advantage of.. DAMAGED items should be pointed out in photo's or descriptions when selling online. UPDATE 2/4/23 seems this company has changed their name quite a few times must be a way to try to avoid negative reviews.
UPDATE 11/19/23 In response to the comment from owner I did contact them and was brushed off and treated badly basically called a liar so the rating is right on. Maybe they are better now but then was ignored and not...
