I shopped in the store 2 years ago while visiting and had a wonderful experience. I also spent a substantial amount of money. I just left the store and I am extremely disappointed in the treatment my mother and I received from the owner. Initially we were helped by one associate but somehow suddenly the owner took over the transaction. Things went downhill from there. A shopper in a neighboring fitting room (who does not look like me) had accessories on her fitting room bench; so I put a few earrings in the same space in my fitting room. Also, the really nice associate initially gave us a shared fitting room, but the owner quickly changed that too. The earrings were taken to the register and our goods were split into 2 fitting rooms. We were invited to view the earrings more closely at the register with her after trying on our clothes.

I am extremely disappointed. This is why I refuse to live in this area. I will not be back to this store. I don’t have to earn anyone’s respect. For anyone who looks like me, you have been warned. Go to The Rivah in Kilmarnock....

Beautiful store and merchandise! WAY overpriced. Perhaps people in small towns think they can get away with it, but I found the brands that they offer that I liked online and could save myself a significant amount of money. Undoubtedly, because I came in "dressed down" it must have been assumed that I didn't have money to spend, so I was largely ignored compared to the other ladies in the store. What a horrible way to lose business. Go to Attitudes in Kilmarnock, instead. I dressed comfortably - as I normally do - for a day at the park with my children BUT was warmly greeted and attended to... Thus, I gladly purchased what I loved at this boutique! Lowe Tide is my absolute favorite place to shop for clothes & accessories! The staff is amazing & goes above and beyond to be helpful in every way. I have an event this weekend and didn’t have a ton of time to come in and shop, so the owner sent me photos of dresses she thought I’d like in my size and had them waiting for me to pick up! If you’re local or in the area visiting- you need to go in & shop!...
