I am currently a student at ATC. On the first visit I knew I had made the right choice to complete my schooling through ATC. Everyone is extremely welcoming and excited to give you all the info you are looking for. The techs are outstanding, thorough, experienced, and they take their time to really cover all materials needed to become fully educated on your field. I love the hands on training, live work, which can even be your families, friends, etc. and the ability to work one on one with the tech to ensure your understanding on the material. The staff is extremely supportive and encouraging, all whilst providing a comfortable learning environment. There are tons of opportunities, job leads etc. presented to you during your school year, you can easily be set up with a job at a shop during your school year with the help of ATC. Upon graduation you will be I-CAR certified, which is huge in the automotive field, amongst a few other certs. I feel confident, and trust to the fullest extent that the techs and staff will provide me the knowledge that I need in becoming a successful, and experienced tech. I highly recommend furthering your career path...
Read moreI'd like to express my gratitude for giving me the motivation to push further in life. I took a tour of the school a few years ago, because I wanted to get some education & get a better understanding of cars, thinking it would be ideal way to support my stepson's interests. During the tour, I brought up some concerns regarding maintenance. The guy giving me tour said to my face "This career is not meant for you". I left feeling frustrated and felt unwelcome. On top of that, they wanted me to get a job, while I was literally working full-time!
I realized he was right, it wasn't meant for me because I deserve a better paying career. Fast forward to 2022, I'm attending college for Cybersecurity and working at a new career with a higher salary. I don't remember who you are, but you were foolish to doubt me. Maybe next time, think twice before expressing your disapproval. I hope this review informs those to not give these people your time of day. As a veteran myself, go to another school and find a better career that's...
Read moreVery nice school, very good and knowledgable staff, although very hard on the individual student's time requirements to meet the academic criteria until graduation. In addition will not permit written doctors notes as a valid student absense. Make up time is very limited, as though they're more interested in keeping their professional statistics on student graduation, than actually taking the time to understand the students individual dilemma; best put, they run more like a coorperate office, than a hands-on trade school. And it is difficult for the students to maintain time requirements. As a student there myself, i have seen numerous people get kicked out of ATC because of personal life situations and not meeting the schools time requirements . What im saying is ... You should only apply to this school if you are retired, and want the education; or when you have nothing else going on in your life for 1 1/2 years, otherwise youre more than likely going to get kicked out with their time...
