Please Streamline with No-meat Breakfast Sandwiches
Today's morning run could've been smoother. I decided to be brave and ask for a breakfast sandwich without meat. It's a low-level anxiety-indusing choice for me because I know there are a number of human factors that can go wrong when I have to ask the counter for something instead of ordering it on the tablets. The guy behind the counter was great, and I trusted him to get to it once he caught up with his other orders. I also ordered a matcha latte that was ready before my sandwich, but when I went to pick it up, the women who made it put her hand back on the cup and told me I had to pay. I'm not proud to say that after I got an "ok" when I tried telling her I was waiting for a custom egg and cheese biscuit, I turned around and sulked. Upon reflection, I could have gone up and paid for everything, but in that instant, I felt scolded and didn't know what to do. I'm writing this review now, not to point fingers, but to put in my plea for a vegetarian breakfast sandwich at the counter with all of the other meat-filled sandwiches. I'm sure I'm not the only vegetarian who chooses to pass up on the ask-the-guy-behind-the-counter option with all of it's risks; time, confusion, etc. It would improve overall user experience and eliminate the instances of customers not knowing whether to pay or wait for their simple, albeit, custom...
Read moreI go to this Wawa every single morning because it has great staff all the way around on all 3 shifts. While reading some other comments I see people saying things that are just not very intelligent. One person said that plastic bags are not banned in Pennsylvania or Chester County. While that part is true, plastic bags are definitely banned in Uwchlan Township. Paying for 1 paper bag at one of the local chain stores costs about 15 cents, while paying for a reusable bag at Wawa only costs 38 cents. The bags they sell at Wawa are not one time use bags that you throw away after 1 use. Another person was complaining about waiting for a breakfast sandwich. During the morning rush it does take a little bit of time to get everything together, the Sizzlis are not just thrown in the microwave, They are placed in an oven, all parts of the Sizzli on separate sheets and then put together, placed in marked boxes, then brought out to the warmer, not a 5 minute job. This truly is a great store, a lot healthier than your fast food restaurants, although you do need to grab your own...
Read moreI ddont want to write this but somebody needs to. (My keys are sticking) Whom ever hired the loud morbidly obese girl with a bad attitude should be ffired or at least undergo further training. It makes this location look beyond desperate for employees. When the store is packed wwith people you absolutely should not continue your conversation with other employees period. Yyou stop ttalking and greet yyour customer. You also do not yell to the deli staff from the middle of the store, especially when there aare 15 customers iin the store. We all already noticed you, there is nno reason tto be loud and unprofessional. There is no reason to loudly demand someone to clock yyou out either. Go in that room aand ask someone. Customers iin tthe store do not want or nneed tto hear that you're leaving. Based on the other employees reactions during my short visit in here, it is obvious to me tthat this girls behavior is an ongoing issue at this store and management needs to deal with it before you lose your...
