I am actually in disbelief. My first few visits to this place went so well, that I recommended them to all my friends. Staff was friendly, prices are fair and it is just an insanely nice shop. I called the shop to ask about selling a card. The gentleman told me on the phone made it sound like they weren't super interested but I insisted that I wasn't really picky on price. He made an offer for the card but it seemed like it was a pretty low ball offer. On 17Jan2017 @ around 5pm, I drove 50 mins (Traffic) to get to the shop and walked in to talk to the employee. The person working is having dinner. I don't really consider this rude as I imagine he was the only one working. I told him I had talked to someone about selling a card to the shop. He said "Well I wasn't here." in a sort of defensive tone. I replied "Well maybe you could take a look at it for me?" He looked and instantly said he wasn't interested again, in a sort of rude tone. I then asked if he thought any of the players in the store might be interested. In a slightly nicer tone, he said "No, they are more interested in Vampires" I ask if that's the new "Thing" in MTG and he said not really and then very rudely said "And don't sell anything in my store" I then left.
I really hope this guy wasn't the owner of this shop because every other time I have been there, I have had an amazing experience. Hopefully, this is a 1 time thing because I would really like to come in more often and recommend this place to people but I was absolutely shocked by how rude this guy was. I am far from easily offended and if he has said something more like "Sorry, this just isn't a card we are interested in", I would have just wrote the 90 min waste of time off and maybe even bought products while I was there. I don't expect you to worship your customers but at least try to pretend to care about...
Read moreI am a local. I buy all of my Warhammer, Shatterpoint, Magic, Pokemon, and DND here. They have a very impressive paint and tool section. The staff always greet you when you walk in.
I have young kids, 6 is my youngest and she is developmental delayed, the staff at this store are incredibly kind & knowledgeable toward her favorite hobby, MTG, of which the selection is massive.
Prices were insanely discounted during recent black Friday. I felt very proud of our little hobby store for giving back in this way. This store has fostered an incredible community and I am grateful they are at part of our town.
The Warhammer 40k selection is huge. I can only compare to an actual Warhammer store. The stock is insane for neighborhood hobby game store.
They also offer military discounts which no other hobby store I have seen does. Again this store is huge source of pride for hobby gamers...
Read moreI've really been getting into Magic the Gathering lately and have been visiting numerous different card shops. Forgotten Path Games is a nice little shop with decent selection on TCGs, accessories, board games and D&D. They've got a big community play area and seem to host a nice variety of game nights. The staff was really friendly and fairly knowledgeable. The prices were something that impressed me most, they seemed to have some of the best prices of any card shop I've been in to. Overall I'd give them a 4.5, merely for the fact that they don't have a big selection of single Magic cards currently, however they said Covid was the cause of that and they would be getting their stock built back up. Definitely worth a visit if you're a TCG player or collector!
UPDATE: They moved and the new shop is awesome! Also, their selection of MTG singles is getting better!...
