Should be condemned!!! This is a converted and dilapidated, previous nursing home. Still has old nursing home beds and old metal bunk beds with up to 4 girls in a room. The furniture is a mix collected from what looks like the street and old motels. The dining room is small with two elementary school connected tables. You know? With the tiny circle seats a foot off the ground? If you are late for (one clock in the building!!) you don’t get it. You can wait for your snack which usually is a handful of popcorn on a paper towel, 2 small cookies OR a pack of nabs. They take your food stamps on the first day and switch all your information to theirs. You can have two cups of coffee per day. There was a literal HOLE that two grown men could have crawled through in the bathroom floor TO THE OUTSIDE of the building. I’m talking grass, heat, all the elements. Our room was 90*. Several times water was shut off and you can only shower at two. 2hr windows twice a day 4-6am and after6-9pm. Remember you don’t have a clock. There were 60 women and 4 working toilets. I went two WEEKS without my medicine because someone misplaced it. There are two led calls that if you miss you are written up or no meds. Visitation twice a month, if you don’t have visitors we were put in the living room with no tv for almost 3 hours watching families walk by. No counseling one on one, no mental health, forgetful nurse called doctor. No onsite medical personnel. The “techs” were more like prison guards. In fact, I would’ve rather been in jail and I chose to be there. U like some who were wanted to it. After two weeks you get one call. The “classes” require you to pour out your heart with NO counseling, advice or solutions. Laundry once a week assigned. God forbid you get the 9pm. Tv two hours a day limited to 2 hours and whoever strong arms the Netflix remote. Absolutely filthy and when I arrived they had a fish tank with oversized goldfish that you could barely see in dark green with poop and algae. If you want to leave they put ou behind a small curtain at the front door immediately with no phone and make you wait there for possibly hours to get a ride. I was promised a ride to get there and they never showed two days in a row. I was so desperate for help I borrowed from a friend and spent over $250 on an uber to get to this absolute dump!!! If you want the “scared straight” of rehabs. Go here. It’s not even livable and should be inspected by OSHA immediately. Ceilings falling down, fire in the wall one night. Lamps with electrical tape and dirty old kitchen supplies. Breakfast green baked eggs, mandarin and piece of bread. Cup of milk. Food was laughable and disgusting. Especially since they had food stamps and government funding. Not enough forks for everyone so we fought over them every meal. Meanwhile I looked at what they charged my insurance and it was outrageous. I had to pay my copays to the tech’s personal cash apps. How unprofessional! I hope they bulldoze this place and God lays it on the heart of someone who truly wants to enrich and change women’s...
Read moreNot gonna lie… I have never known hunger in my life until this place until my family was able to get me TONS of groceries. Other than that, yes, the place is extremely ghetto and you can’t flush your toilet paper, but I’ve made some of the best friends that anyone could ask for. The techs are AMAZING and care so much about all the girls, especially Tracy and Mammie. I cried every day when I got there and had no friends, except Tracy. She made me feel like I wasn’t a failure and that my life wasn’t over. She gave me hope. At first I was only going to stay for 30 days, but I graduated after 60 and am still clean and sober and strong with God one year later. I couldn’t have done it without Tracy and my counselors, Bailey and Adrienne. This place is super rough, and yeah, it’s like 60 girls packed in together, but we were there for EVERY HOLIDAY… Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s… and we still had a great time. This life is what you make of it, so stop wasting it. There’s always a bed open, and you will be welcome with open arms. And tell Tracy I said “awwwww yeahhh”, she’ll know what...
Read moreI went to the Valliant Rehab and I can say that it was the best decision I ever made. The people who work hathere are excellent and most of all they truly care about you and will work with you in the best possible way to help you. They are amazing and they care about each and everyone. Oh you can go to one of the fancy Rehab and do there way . But they cannot get in the race with Valliant House. This place is the Best Of all Rehabs . I personally guarantee that. I was addict in a constant everyday use of Meth non stop addiction for ( 28 years) And I have been clean for 1 year as of December 2nd of 2019 . If you are serious about stop using drugs. Valliant House is where you need to go. Seriously the best . Start there and you won’t have to go back to any Rehab. Your addiction will end there!!!!! By the way my name is Vickie M. Lemons. Penny is my maiden name. I am a real survivor...
