I had been having a lot of pain in my lower left abdomen for several months. It finally got to the point that the pain was constant and I was taking 3 Aleve a day just to function. I knew the daily doses of Aleve were not good for my body, but I was concerned that I had something very serious going on, and had put off going to the doctor out of fear. I finally made an appointment with my doctor when I couldn't take it any more and He sent me to get an MRI. The MRI results came back and there was nothing showing up that caused my doctor to be concerned. Good and bad news, right? Good that nothing was showing up, but bad because that didn't explain my pain. My doctor said it could be neurological and suggested that I see a Neurologist. I was skeptical about going to a Neurologist because I was afraid I would just be put on medication and the real issue never be determined. Since I was in so much pain I knew something was not right. I asked my doctor if maybe I should try a chiropractor first and then see a neurologist if that didn't help. Now mind you, I had never seen a chiropractor before, but my husband had recently been going and had seen a huge change in his health. I thought that might be the place to start. My doctor discouraged it and said he didn't think it would benefit me. I chose to go against my doctor's wishes and came to see Dr. Braddock. I don't suggest going against the advice of your doctor, but I am so glad that I did in this instance. I have been going to Dr. Braddock for a little over two months and my pain is almost gone. It took a lot longer than I thought to see a change, but I only take Aleve about once a week at this point. Not only has my initial pain been minimized, but I had been having tingling in my foot and my hip "clicked" ever step that I took. I didn't even realize that those were also related to my back being out of alignment. Both of those symptoms have been minimized as well. I am so glad I made that initial appointment with Dr. Braddock's office and I'm glad I endured the few weeks of soreness and discomfort and continued to come to my weekly appointments. I am moving away from sickness and toward health. I am believing the pain, tingling and "clicking" will be totally gone soon. Never to return. Thanks Dr. Braddock!!! ...
Read moreI waited a long time to post a review, because I was SO mad about how I was treated, I needed to calm down for a while!
If I could give Zero stars, I would! Iâve had neck issues for over a decade, and have seen MANY Chiropractorâs over the years. Upon my first and only visit to this office, I brought my own Patient file with me, which included X-rays and MRIâs that I had done over the years. I explained to the front desk that I am new to the area, but am not a novice Patient. I did not want to see a video, or be pitched a âPlanâ to get on. I just wanted to do one maintenance a week, and thatâs it.
But of course⌠the second I got there for my visit, they stuck me in a back room with a video. And when the Girl from the FD came back with my âPlanâ, I told her to stop where she was! I explained to her I was very clear with what I expected in my initial phone call with the receptionist. She immediately cut me off, and said I needed to let her finish speaking. Like I was some adolescent Child to be scolded! Another reviewer mentioned the rudeness they experienced, and I will attest to this as well!!!!
Once I actually saw the doctor, he did the normal adjustments, but then proceeded to take a hand held massager, and go over the herniated discs themselves! NOT along side, but right on top of my vertebrae. I was in so much pain, I yelled for him to stop, and proceeded to have the worst migraine I had ever had in my life after that event!!! Hindsight being 20/20, I almost wonder if he hurt me on purpose for being curt with his Aid. Regardless whether purposeful or not, using a massager over the vertebrae is unacceptable!
In summary⌠I would never trust this office if you have serious issues! I found The Joint in McKinney and love Dr. O. Itâs a Membership situation, and you donât get taken advantage of with a âPlan!ââ Most insurances only cover 15 visits a year, and these Chiropractors try to make you use them fast, so you pay more to them out of pocket the rest of the year! It just seems to be about how much money they can make, not about helping people that need it! I hope this review saves one person from having the same experience as I...
Read moreMy wife complained of a sore neck and shoulders and had chiropractic care at a former state. She said it helped. After settling in TX, she responded to a Braddock Chiropractor mail flyer. Upon completing an 8 week program her headaches and shoulder/neck pain had subsided, and she bragged about the friendly staff.
I was skeptical but curious. Suffering with lower back pain, my hands and feet were tingling and often numb, shoulders and neck easily fatigued. Presumed I had carpal tunnel syndrome and could not fully extend my fingers or firmly grip anything more than a minute or so. Bad shape to say the least. I thought everyone suffered to some extent. So, I should just suck it up and be glad my condition wasn't as bad as others. I did, until my wife asked me to go to a special offer Saturday screening at Braddock's. Hopefully skeptical I could have full function of my hands again, I went.
The staff was personally professional. The screening revealed my spine was out of whack and a car accident decades ago most likely caused shoulder misalignment. Dr. Braddock explained my current state, what his group could do to begin alleviating my symptoms, and patiently answered all my pointed questions with a smile. We talked for 15 minute as friends. He told me patients worse than me had major improvement with 8 weeks.
After my adjustment, which I hoped was the beginning to an end of unnecessary pain. I knew something was needed, and what I was and wasn't doing was not working. I signed up for an 8 week treatment plan under their family plan, which was less than I expected. After 6 weeks of treatments, I can fully extend my fingers without pain, my wrists rarely hurt, shoulders are almost aligned, and my neck and lower back feel 80% better. Most importantly my grip is back! Numb feet, hands, elbows, and shoulders don't take turns waking me up. More consistent sleep has been great! My physical quality of life is much improved. I never imagined painless treatments could restore my health. My health journey is by no means over, but I'm so thankful I took a chance on Braddock Chiropractic care. My only regret is I didn't start care much earlier....
