This will be a long review, hang in there. Initially, I had to reschedule 3 times because being a mom of 4 is tough to get anything done for yourself. The first time I scheduled I woke up with the stomach bug on the day of. The next 2 times I had sick kiddos home from school that I had to stay with. And as mamas know, when they wake up sick, it’s not like you can give a ton of notice, however I tried to give at least a few hours so the stylist could call and see if someone else could come in. I realize this may not be adequate time, but there was nothing I could do. The stylist then had me pay a deposit for the next time I scheduled, completely understandable because I canceled so many times. Finally got my hair done and I will post pictures of what I asked for and what I got. This was $250 not including tip and as you can clearly see, not a single highlight or dimension anywhere. I ended up letting the stylist know that I wasn’t completely happy with how the color came out when I finally got home and realized there wasn’t a single highlight. The pictures don’t do it justice but my hair was also almost black! She offered for me to come in and fix it for free, which I appreciated so much. Then, upon getting ready for the day the following day, I noticed there were literal shelf’s in my hair when I asked for long layers. This made me nervous for the stylist to “fix” my hair, so I messaged the salon on Facebook (where the initial contact began) and explained the situation and asked if someone else could fix it. I was contacted by someone else at the salon and we talked on the phone about everything. I also texted pictures to this stylist. She told me to come in so they could see what was wrong and I had a time scheduled that I again couldn’t make because of a sick kid. I also realized that for another stylist to fix my hair, I would have to pay said stylist and as a mom of 4, I just couldn’t justify spending anymore on my hair. So I went back to the original stylist and tried to make our schedules work for her to fix it. She would offer me one day and time (usually Fridays that I could not do because my kids aren’t in school that day) and then get frustrated when I couldn’t make that one day. Mind you, we hadn’t scheduled anything, but were trying to make an appointment. She then stopped replying and a couple days later I got a text from the salon owner (see photo). This is horrible customer service! I paid to have a service done that was not done. Life happens and I know everyone’s time is valuable, which is why I apologized profusely anytime I had to reschedule and paid a deposit when I finally scheduled. My haircut was so uneven that I had to fix it myself at home. I only asked for a trim so I’m not sure why it was so difficult. Just wanted to warn people. I only went to one hairstylist there but when I called to let them know I had an issue with my balayage they didn’t seem to care and said I would have to deal directly with the stylist and have her fix it. Stylists name starts with a T.
I feel bad writing this but my hair did not only look bad but it was damaged so badly and I have always taken such good care of my hair and had Olaplex used in my lightening process, which I was told by stylist they don’t use.
After my experience I found out my neighbor went to the same salon and had her daughter’s hair cut by the same stylist and had to go have it fixed because it was so uneven.
